Okay How is Lazenby pronounced? I've heard it pronounced Lay-zen-be and Las-in-be. Which way is correct?

The former, I believe. Met the man in person, and the topic never came up.

George himself said you pronounce it Lay-zen-bee.

Lay-sen-bee, or La-sen-bee is not how he pronounces it.

Although others do, and I've also heard others say Lay-zen-bi, La-sen-bi and Lay-sen-bi, but Lay-zen-bee is how it's supposed to be pronounced.

Really doesn't make much difference here because we all (I hope)know how to spell Lazenby.

I've always said Lay-zen-bee.

Las-en-bee just doesn't sound correct, and I've only heard it that way once, on a TV commercial advertising this networks showing of OHMSS.

Everywhere else I've heard Lay-zen-bee.

I usually say "La-sen-bee", but since he says it's "Lay-zen-bee", I'll pronounce it that way.

I've always thought it was pronounced it Lay-zen-bee.

Although most people (re: non-fans) I've spoken to pronounce it as "The bloke who only did the one."

The crunchy guy?

Myself, I always pronounced it La-zin-bee. And since nobody I talk to in person thinks otherwise, that's kinda how I made a habit of saying it. I guess I know better now, though.

I asked him when I met him. Lay-zen-bee is correct, Las-en-bee is incorrect.

George Lazenby pronounced it that way himself when he hosted Goldeneye starring Charles Dance.
