'James Bond 007: From Russia With Love' confirmed in UK stores 18 November
Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: ERTS) has shipped the latest installment in the widely successful James BondTM videogame franchise, From Russia With LoveTM, starring Academy Award®-winner, Sir Sean Connery. The highly anticipated game is being released on the PlayStation computer entertainment system, the Xbox; video game system from Microsoft and Nintendo GameCubeTM will be available in stores as of November 18th.
From Russia With Love, the videogame, is based on the classic Bond film from 1963 but features new plot twists, gadgets, weapons and characters as well as a dynamic multiplayer component. Sir Sean Connery, appearing in his first-ever videogame, lent his voice and likeness to the project. Also making their videogame debuts as original Bond girls are multi-platinum UK pop star Natasha Bedingfield and movie and TV star Maria Menounos.
"We think fans of the Bond videogame franchise will be very excited that we were able to bring back the original Bond, Sir Sean Connery, to lend his voice and help the development team tailor the game to his Bond style," said Jillian Goldberg, Vice President of Marketing for EA.
