how many cameos has he made? I know the Moonraker, The Living Daylights, GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies and The World is not Enough ones, but are there more? Tomorrow Never Dies actually gave him dialogue, he's very prominent there...

What if Mickey G is playing the same character and he is following up leads on/tailing Bond and has been for twenty or thirty years.

In a future film, this character could finally get all the information he needs on Bond and be the villain!!!!!!!

.............or not

ive never actually watched twine on pan and scan so i dont really know, but i doubt you would be able to see him, he's right on the edge of the screen, so he was probably chopped off

Although it is widely documented that he is in TWINE at the casino, I'm damned to hell if I can see him.

Do you have to be watching on widescreen to see him? I'm only with a pan and scan version.

Otherwise I only remember him from Mr onwards and didn't know about LTK "..get the b..".

It's not the opera at the start, it's the one about mid-film. He's two seats away from Saunders.

He's in AVTAK somewhere, i'll post back here as soon as I find out.

This spares me starting a new topic. I've heard rumours he's in almost all the films back to like Goldfinger. I don't know how true this is, but I thought I may have seen him back as far as The Man With the Golden Gun.

I was flipping through the DVD yesterday, and it's when they get to the canal chase just after the karate school. The scene shows a group of tourists getting onto a boat. This lanky guy with very 70s looking plaid pants is among the tourists. Maybe it's him, maybe it's not, just thought it was worth a mention.

I believe--though this may be a hallucination--that Mickey G appears in Licence to Kill when Bond is being taken to Hemingway House.

I think he's in Licence to Kill when Bond is being escorted to Hemingway House. But I may be getting mixed up.

Apart from the scene in Russia, in GoldenEye is that him sitting behind Tanner/M when she first walks into the room? Looks like him.

its only his voice in licence to kill (and maybe his arm i read somewhere). It right after the gunbarrel and he says "if we're lucky we just might be able to catch the bastard"

He's not, he's easy to see.
As Elektra enters 'Mr. King's Private Room' he's at the door and hands her the check.

The rumour about Goldfinger is partly true. He was in Goldfinger and every film since Moonraker.

He is seen sitting next to Saunders and is sat next to a woman who is his wife.

He's done tons of other cameos.

Always good to see that list. I always forget about the one in Octopussy at the table.

Yeah, that one is a bit more difficult because there aren't any close-ups (as far as I can remember), whereas in films like GoldenEye, you see him a few times during the discussion.

I thought that Wilson played a guard in Goldfinger, not a driver as the article suggests. :cooltongue:

I'm pretty sure he did serve as the driver for part of the sequence. I've heard that he was a guard as well--just wish there was a moment when we could actually spot him in the movie.

He WAS in AVTAK. He was one of the businessmen in Zorin's blimp.

In Octopussy, he was on the tour boat that rescues Bond from Kamal Khn's dangerous game. "Are you with our group?"

In LTK, he was the voice on the AWACS plane, "If they hurry, they might be able to grab the bastard."

He 's predominant as the corrupt Montenegro Police chief in CR, but the real question is... can you spot him in QOS?

Micheal Wilson is the "Where's Waldo" of the 007 franchise.

He's near Saunders with his hand on the balcony railing.

i dont know if it is because of my love for james bond films, the fact that he is not as obvious looking, or the cameos are just clever; but i always enjoy wilson's cameos in the bond films while the cameos that stan lee has in marvel films i usually find pretty annoying.

In Quantum of Solace he is in the hotel where Bond finds the hitman when Bond is asking about messages for the room. At least I think that is what hes doing

You know, I never compared the two things. You make a great point!
