i have a casino royale(UK)2nd impression in a facsimile dustjacket, i know its not going to be as valuable as a 1st impression but i would like know if it is still a rare or collectable copy. i have been trying to build a 1st edition collection and this seems to be as close to a 1st impression as i'am likely to get.

how many where actually printed?
any ideas? never seen any on ebay

Unfortunetly, most of the value of a Casino first or second is all in the original dust-jacket. A facsimile jacket realy doesn't do much for it. If the book is in flawless condition it still might have some value, but I really not sure what that value would be. Sorry.

But, yes, a CR second is still collectible and if you're trying to put together a collection of first editions, this isn't a bad way to fill that first spot on the shelf. :)

Agree with the Zencat. A CR first edition second impression in good not fine condition d/w, recently sold on Ebay for about GBPound 500 which is around US$800-$900. I have seen bookshops asking 3-4 times as much.

A 1st/1st is way out of most peoples budget even Daniel Craigs.
