[mra]West coast people might want to check it out. I must say I thought it was piss poor. His accent seems like an American doing a Brit accent even though he

The one thing you can say about McMahon is that the guy clearly wants the damn part. I like that. I don't like that Eon seems to view that as a minus.

However, I don't think he'd be good at all in the role. Do men want to be him? I don't. He comes off to me as prissy... a little weaselly. His charm seems like a put-on.

People should remember, though, that he does fit the established profile very well -- Commonwealth, tall, dark, handsome, right age, exact right level of fame as a relatively well-known TV star who hasn't been big in movies yet, portrays a "playboy ladykiller" on that show. So, you figure he's a candidate. (Although I have no clue how he'd be able to fulfill his Bond, Fantastic Four and Nip/Tuck commitments all at once.)

Well, For me, he is really good. I really like him in NIp/Tuck. I mean, i want to be Dr Troy ! lol he is really cool.
I'm not sure he'll get the role, but his situation looks a lot like Brosnan situation in '86, so he might be the one.
Nip Tuck is a really good show, but like Brosnan, i hope McMahon won't be disappointed (if he get the role one day) by the lack of risk, the producers a taking.

I want Bond to smoke, i want to see nude girl, We should have some nasty girls too and not american spy that are the equal of bond.

well..... stop dreaming my dear julien...... it's only 9am...

good day everyone !

I don't know, sometimes I think he (McMahon) could pull it off, sometimes I think he looks like Vince Vaughn.
I don't think it will happen for him though.

[mra]I just never could see McMahon as Bond. Strange because I seem to see more potetials out there than the average Bond fan. But Julian never struck me as Bond. I thought perhaps if I heard him with an accent, but no, this

Not that PM. His father was Sir William McMahon, Prime Minister of Australia.

When was McMahon on the Tonight Show? Was it in the last week? I have a few recorded from the last few nights that I haven't watched yet. Which one was he on? Was it after Matt LeBlanc?

If Ian Fleming was around I'm sure he'd say never to trust a man who plucks his own eyebrows.

There is this rather tragic air of desperation around this man, isn't there?

He seems like he'd be either really good, or really bad. I personally think he would be just fine but he is not my top choice. But he does have his pros and cons just like each and every Bond candidate out there.

Has everyone seen the DVD cover to season 2 of Nip/Tuck? Both Julian and Dylan strike a Bond pose on it, a joke maybe to Julian as a possible Bond? He would be good, but it wouldn't require him to act as Bond. Guess I'll have to hear his version before I make a judgement.

Maybe, but you can only tell in 'Marnie'- in the Bonds they did it well enough to look natural. McMahon just looks appalling.

Oh come on, this is a really cheap shot! McMahon has come a long way since those days. He is the star of a successful adult TV series, for which he has earned a Golden Globe nomination. He has also made a breakthrough into films, both hollywood big budget and independent. Charmed in no way represents where he stands currently.
