[JAWS]

With all of the talk about a super weapon being in Bond 20, I started thinking back on the SUPER weapons of previous Bond baddies. I'm talking about BIG DADDY type weapons, not like Goldfinger's gold plated pistol.
-DR. NO had a nuclear powered missile programming scrambler
-GOLDFINGER had a humongus laser gun (or maybe he was just happy to see Bond? sorry, bad over-used joke)
-LARGO had two honest to goodness atomic bombs
-BLOFELD had a laser sattilite
-SCARAMANGA had a solor powered gun (his model was largly useless, unless his enemy was on the beach below)
-STROMBERG had two nuclear submarines (take THAT, Elektra!)
-006 had a sattilite with nuclear pulse capability

I like to imagine the Bond villains getting togather one evening, possibly in the latest villain's lair, and discussing their absolute failures and some one starts bragging about their super weapon. Guys like Kananga would no doubt become embaressed: " uh, gee. A super weapon? Well I gots this ugly white car that shoots darts out of the mirrors!" or Zorin: "My blimp is THE BOMB! It's excellent for quick getaways, especially when you want to get away unnoticed!" or Whittacker: "Stand back! I've got a lobster and know how to use it!"

On the flip side however, these guys could mock the guys with super weapons: "Even with your big sattilites, missiles and lasers, you mean you STILL coudn't get that Bond guy?!?"

Your thoughts?

Why dont they just kidnap Q. He has defeated them many-a-time, while their (ahem) 'feable' things do nout.

I was sure I read rumors about a super weapon in these forums, but I could have been mistaken.
No super weapon for the villain? Dang!

Nice idea - but his disguises are just too good when he's out in the field. :-)
