Well, because I'm collecting these cars, I also have some James Bond cars. And the Bond cars are:

- A silver BMW Z8, from Maisto. It's a nice model. but there are some rushed details on the car
- A BMW Z3, from UT Models. It's the official one from GoldenEye.
- And the MOST beautiful one, the LOTUS ESPRIT TURBO from AutoArt. It was very very expensive, but the model doesn't get bored

The Z8 is my favourite too.

But I won't be rushing out for a 1:18 model of a Jaguar F1 car just yet....... :)

Yes, I got the DB5 for Christmas, too. AutoArt did a spectacular job on that baby. I also received an Aston Martin DB7 Vantage coupe by Maisto. Yeah, it wasn't featured in any of the films, but it's still a nice car. ;-) I'm hoping to get the V12 Vanquish when it comes out ( ??? ), and maybe the Z8 as well.

Is the Z8, a James Bond edition? (with the license plate: V354 FMP)

For Christmas i got the 1:18 model of the Aston Martin DB5. It is a really sweet car and has ALL the gadgets! Even the ejector seat. Every detail is on the car!

ShockTroop22 (07 Jan, 2002 11:23 p.m.):

COMING SOON: TSWLM 1/18 "Wet Nellie" & 1/6 TWINE Q Boat

Where are you getting the Q Boat from? (I REALLY REALLY REALLY want one)

I'll be building it myself. I'm currently creating the 3D plans for my model on my computer. Will be traveling to the IFF this spring to verify my plans against the two Q Boats in their collection. Both Doug Riddle and Doug Redenius will be checking and commenting on my plans to authenticate them as accurate as possible.

Yes.. save your money! In Canada, some of these vehicles fetch up to big bucks. The DB5 cost $100, and the DB7 only cost around $40, but it depends on where you shop and what you're going to buy. Can get pretty pricey for a big collection. But worth every penny.

My 007 vehicle collection consists of the following:

Johnny Lightning James Bond Series 1 & 2

'70's vintage Corgi DB5

1/24th scale - Danbury Mint DB5 w/ gadgets and the BMW 750iL from TND (I've actually got two...one to keep original and the second to add the gadgets to) and the BMW R1200C motorcycle (both sold thru BMW dealers).

1/18th scale - TWINE Z8 (sold thru BMW dealers), UT models' GOLDENEYE Z3 and Ferrari 355, AutoArt GOLDFINGER DB5 with and without gadets, TSWLM Lotus, FYEO Lotus.

1/6th scale - TND BMW R1200C motorcyle (just the right size for 007 Action Man!)

COMING SOON: TSWLM 1/18 "Wet Nellie" & 1/6 TWINE Q Boat

So far, the only company making the Aston Martin from TLD is Corgi (1/36 of 1/43 scale, not sure which). With all the recent additions to the AutoArt 1/18th scale James Bond Collection, we can only hope they will create all 007's cars in scale!

I have the same Z8 model. I was talking with a friend of mine who is good at that sort of thing about taking my Dremel Tool to it and adding a few 'optional extras'. Probably will never happen, but I dream about every time I look at the car.

Ooh, and I've got a Ford Mustang in light blue with a white hard top from 1965. It's exactly the same as Fiona Volpe's one. But not a REAL Bond car.

Does anyone know where to buy the Aston Martin from TLD?
