So what kind of spy movies do you all think are better? Do you think the close to the real world ones like The Hunt For Red October, Clear And Present Danger, The Sum Of All Fears, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, The Russia House, The Fourth Protocal and In The Line Of Fire are better. Or do you all think the super spy ones like James Bond, Our Man Flint, Mission Impossible, XxX, The Man From Uncle and The Avengers are better. Do any of you think the close to the real world ones are too boring?
I find the Ryans very boring (and very silly) apart from CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER, which is a terrific film. IN THE LINE OF FIRE is good, and the MISSION: IMPOSSIBLEs have their moments. Not a fan of anything else mentioned.
But why has no one mentioned the king of the spy franchises, the Jason Bourne series?
