I takes me back to when I was just a kid. Awsome.
Now I am faced with a decision. Do I buy an X-Box or a Playstation 2?

If you're one of those anti-Nintendo guys then get a PS2 because Sony now owns the James Bond series and they've been in the business longer than Microsoft.I am surprised you both said Gamecube. I will have to look into it.
Definently Gamecube, no other sytem comes close to it, and I just downright hate the X-Box and PS2. Bond games always seem to turn out best when it comes to Nintendo.

I suppose you could also get Xbox 360 coming up this November. It's more expensive, but the Xbox version of FRWL has a great chance of being playable on it and you'll be set for the next 4+ years.

End petit shpiel.
On the topic: I'll definitely buy FRWL for GC as all of my Bond games are Nintendo.

I haven't played the XBOX yet, so I can't challenge your statements but I will probably stick to Sony and Nintendo (I've played Nintendo for 13 years, I'm going to be going down with the ship on this one , all the way down).
If only Nintendo didn't sell Final Fantasy to Sony; but then again if they hadn't would we get Final Fantasy VII? It was a milestone in video game history; one of the highest-selling video games of all time and one of the most graphically advanced games of its time. I agree that other consoles do beat out Nintendo graphically, Final Fantasy VII wouldn't have been what it is if Nintendo made it. God, I have to shut up about Final Fantasy, this is a Bond forum!

If you're looking to get more Bond games in the future, then I'd probably go with the Sony consoles, since Sony now owns Bond and may decide in the future to make it a Playstation exclusive. Not saying that they will do that, but it's possible. Plus, Gamecube doesn't really have that many games out for it. Yes, the Nintendo developed games are great, but there's a lot of downtime in between them where there's not much coming out for the system.
Sony has put Spider-man games out on just about every platform known to man, so they'll probably share Bond with the other consoles too. I wonder if there will be a Casino Royale game; beat Le Chiffre at baccarat and then try to survive the carpet beater of doom!

GameCube. Nintendo is the only true video game company. They were the first and they have the only worth while franchises (Mario, Zelda, etc.) and all of the James Bond games are released for it.Do I buy an X-Box or a Playstation 2?

Get it for the Gamecube mate, underrated console, I see the Playstation as a casual gamers console.
Hotwinds, you can never go wrong with a Nintendo console. They are simply the best. British Assasin, Shaun Forever, & I will refund your money if you don't like your GameCube .
Nintendo will be around for many years to come. They may not be as powerful as Microsoft or Sony but it is the only innovator in the industry. Microsoft and Sony products are always very similar but Nintendo makes products that are unique and different (in a good way).
I absolutly agree with you. I 've had Nintendo's since the NES. Playstaions are ok but as you all say the Nitendo is underated. It is a good entertainment machine

Besides, the Gamecube discs are too small and easy to lose.
And Playstation was I believe the first system to fully use 3d graphics.

I don't think Revolution will be Nintendo's "swan song", for they still got the DS and GBA to fall back on. Speaking of which, the DS has been doing better over the PSP thanks to the excellent surge of new games. Overall, I think Nintendo's doing good at the moment. They could pay a bit more attention to the Gamecube, but they're doing fine.
Back to the original topic at hand: unless you wish to use the online multiplayer (speaking of which, has a multiplayer been mentioned yet?), get the Gamecube version, for the PS2 will most likely look not as pretty. Plus the GC system itself is $100, even less used. It's a steal. Plus, check out the other games, even the non-Bond ones. Yes, there are more than just E-rated games and Bond games. There's a few M-rated ones out there, some of them pretty damn good.
It's funny that I'd talk about video game console clashing in a James Bond forum.
