This site would have more quality per head than any other in the history of the Internet.Blue Eyes (30 Oct, 2001 09:12 a.m.):
.....and we only have about 280 members. So you can see what we dont' have a pile of specıalısts running around. But we're getting there. We're slowly attracting more and more people. For example, you! Most every member who comes along brings some knowledge with them that they're willing to share, and from what I've learnt quite a bit of it is new to other people.
And I don't ever, ever, ever exaggerate!

please check http://www3.autoartm...com/product.htm, then scroll down to 1/18 AutoArt movie and look at 70021 to see what I'm talking about:
http://www3.autoartm...om/classics.htm shows both versions.
By the way, the car is not supercharged and the script on the bonnet is "Superleggera"!

But sans gadgets.
Without the Bond graphics on the box - its just a silver DB5.
The Danbury has the hardware. You get what you pay for here.

But please don't get confused with the initially available Bond version of the standart car w/o the gadgets in just different packing from AutoArt which was even cheaper but is sold out now from the manufacturer.

You're right! I wasn't clear that they also produced the DB5 with gadgets.
So what's a superleggera?

The DB5 for example was done by Corgy Toys in 1/64, 1/43 und 1/36, by Danbury Mint in 1/24 and by AutoArt in 1/18 amongst others.
It all depends also who is prepared to pay for the license and which manufacturer has already been authorized by Aston Martin to do the tooling for the Vanquish base model in what ever scale.
Let's keep our fingers crossed that something will be released in time for next Christmas!
