I'm not sure why, but collecting the different editions of this book in particular is very easy compared to alot of the other Gardners. For fans working on the UK Gardner 1st editions, Death Is Forever is a great one to start with because of it's relatively low price. (Compared to somewhat more pricey ones like Scorpius and The Man From Barbarossa IMO.)

I've got a couple of hardbacks. I'm hoping they will reprint all of the gardner novels in hardback with new styles and designs. The trouble with UK prints is that the covers are completely diffrent on each book. :) Some are by Bill gregory others in the Richard Chopping style. Plus there diffrent sizes. :)

Well that's because there was the switch from Jonathan Cape tp Hodder & Stoughton.
