All have survived.
Only 24 of the 297 passengers and 12 crew members aboard Air France Flight 358 from Paris sustained any injuries, most of them minor, authorities said.

When you think about the thousands of aircraft that are in the sky 24/7 it's quite incredible that you don't hear about more accidents. That is a great tribute to all those that design, build, maintain and fly them.

Just to inject humour: Airports should put up signs "Slippery when wet".
I believe that there should be an upgrade to aircraft wheels.
Tyre spikes that we've seen in Die Another Day could be applied as a safety measure for landing in snowy conditions.
I've worked for Air Traffic Control before and I know the controllers could advice the pilots to initiate the wheel spikes before landing.
As of now though, let's wish the astronauts on board Discovery come home safe from their mission(s).

Amen...
And lets hope nothing happens in London tomorrow...it's been two weeks (same time span between attacks as before).
Well Thankfull DLibrasnow, nothing has happend. Only thing related to terror is that Bin Ladan's right hand man has vowed that London is to expect more terror attacks if the British troops don't leave Iraq.
