Introducing S-Branch

The most popular James Bond site on the web just got better. Today CommanderBond.net opens up its S-Branch Section. Adding to the already extensive and in-depth articles that have been featured on the James Bond 007 films over the years on CBn, S-Branch gives in-depth coverage on the characters in the James Bond 007 films from Dr. No to Die Another Day.[/ibox]

Well :)

It's taken a good few months of Devin's and my time so we'd love to hear what you think of it!

All I can say is: Wow, wow, wow!

Truly an impressive piece of work here. Having seen it in development for quite some time now, I'm still fascinated with the final result.

This is all Dave's and Devin's baby, folks. Hats off to them.
:) :) :)

So the girl on the yacht at the beginning of TLD is named Linda, eh? There we go...I've already learned something from S-branch that I didn't know. :)

I am very impressed....although I vehemently disagree with a lot of the ratings it is obvious that this was quite an undertaking on the part of the CBn staff.

Same here. How on earth does TOMORROW NEVER DIES merit an 8? Still, I'm pleased to see an 8.5 for the perpetually underrated YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE, as well as a 6 (although it's more than it deserves) for THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH.

There are some broken links in the section. Curiosity had me click on the link for when Charles, Stuart and I visited with Lana Wood and I came to a CBn screen telling me that the page was not found.

Still, wow, I am going to have a lot of fun with this...I even learnt something new in The Spy Who Loved Me section - that Sandor had been a guard for Dr. No

All the Team members rated the films and then an average number out of all the numbers was calculated.

Those two instances amazed me to - how did a movie as dire as THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH get as high as 6? :)

I also liked that YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE got a good rating. :)

Of course I'm not surprised by the low rating for NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN as I know of at least one of the CBn team who has never seen it. :)

Because we were sensible in the voting. There are a number of different views held on a number of different films. Things balance out eventually.

Good Lord, that's a lot of work. Well done, fellas.

Between that and posting on the forums as much as he does, Devin's hands must be developing rheumatoid arthritis. But it's worth it for CBn, right?

Right?

Very nice work!

I have just looked up Shirley Eaton here with S-Branch, after seeing her on my The Saint DVD collection [took them with me on my recent trip to Angola]. I enjoyed The Saint as a youngster, and even remember the change from Black & White to Color.

Speaking of The Young, quite an impressive job you founders have done with CBn. I was not aware of the youthful genesis of the site. Well done! :)
