That's what we know so far.
Yet, they still have lots of time to still add and change things here and there.
If they do, might Raymond Benson be called back to write the novelization?
Possible title: James Bond in Casino Royale (lolz, somewhat like Christopher Wood's titles)

He said that what will probably happen is that the Fleming novel will be reprinted with cover art from the movie (either stills or the theatrical poster).

Hopefully, once the Young Bond series are done, IFP would return to the continuation series.

Yes, that's what I see happening as well. Afterall, that's what they did for the '67 Casino.I asked Raymond Benson about that and he said no.

There are still the uncollected Benson Bond short stories including one unpublished story. I really hope IFP will one day collect these into a book. Then it really is "game over" for Benson. *sniff*

I couldn't agree more. Those four short stories plus his memoirs would make a terrific book.

But that wouldn't really be a novelization of the entire film (hopefully not) but only the first part of the movie. I'd rather see a modernized novelization that includes the rest of the movie instead of a mere reprint of the book.I asked Raymond Benson about that and he said no.

Yes, but there is a precedent here. There were Fleming reprints timed to coincide (and featuring stills and posters) for pretty much all the books up until Octopussy.

Sure. It's what they'll do, though. When the Tom Cruise film MINORITY REPORT came out a few years back, they made Dick's short story into a book and sold it off the back of it. Amazingly. (Incidentally, the story can be found in its entirety on the web - or could when I last looked, anyway - and is a hell of a lot better than the film. It actually makes sense, for one. )

An prominent example: Legend of Sleepy Hollow (The novelisation by Peter Lerangis with the original story by Washinton Irving). They even included photos from the movie
