Interesting... half of those might make it to my top ten, but the interesting thing is that the other half would definitely make it to my bottome ten.

Very interesting....Britt certainly was very beautiful, but I'm surprised to see that it wasn't Ursula Andress or Diana Rigg.

My personal favorite Barbara Bach doesn't even get a mention.

Exception of Blackman I wouldn't include any of the above in my top ten list. I would say that Carole Bouquet, Kristina Waybourn, Izabella Scopupco and right on top, Rosamund Pike are my choices.

I know nothing about this particular poll or its participants, but the fact that Denise Richards comes in third tells me that it's mostly younger readers, probably those who grew up with Brosnan movies.

I've noticed polls of younger respondents tend to skew to more recent (i.e. a balanced poll of American icons might put Jimmy Stewart in first place while a poll of younger respondents -- many of whom have never heard of Jimmy Stewart -- puts Britney Spears in first). I have to guess that since girls from ALL FOUR Brosnan movies made it on this list, vs. only TWO from Connery films, that this was mostly kids, a lot of whom have probably never seen the older Bond films

Here are the ten greatest Bond films based on the logic of the above list:

1. Casino Royale (1967)
2. Never Say Never Again
3. Die Another Day
4. The Man With The Golden Gun
5. Octopussy
6. For Your Eyes Only
7. Thunderball
8. From Russia With Love
9. The Spy Who Loved Me
10. Goldfinger

The list means whose most sexy, and has nothing to do with acting or personality.

I'm surprised Maud Adams wasn't put on the list, especially since her most famous character's name is Octopussy.

Good for Britt! She was a hottie for sure, and she takes a lot of flak for playing a bit of a ditz. But that's the part as written. She was the last of the bimbo Bond girls! She should get some cred for that. :)

I'm cool with all the ladies on the list, save Basinger, who won't ever get much respect from me. Sorry Kim.

As you know I am a big fan of Never Say Never Again but one thing I really did not like in the movie was Kim Basingers performance. IMO Auger is the better Domino (the only aspect where the 1965 movie actually beats the 1983 one.)

Although I love some of those Bond girls, I wonder if the poll takers at Nuts or whatever it is have actually seen any of the James Bond films?

Yeah they left a big gap in their top ten by missing Barbara Bach. She's always been by favorite! Curse you Ringo!!!!

I would have thought that Barbara Bach would have at least gotten a mention. She wouldn't have been my #1 choice, but she certainly should have been up there. I was also surprised that Ursula Andress wasn't the #1 Bond girl. She's certainly the best in my opinion.

It wasn't a bad list until I saw Teri Hatcher and Kim Basinger on there, neither of whom did anything for me.

Criminal that Claudine Auger and Barbara Bach were left off the list. I'd have have thrown Caroline Munro and that Greek lass from FYEO in as well.

The casual Nuts reader will always chuck in Bond girls who are just famous rather than do some deep thinking about it, hence the predictable of presence of actresses like Andress and Hatcher.

Still, it wasn't all bad. Lynn-Holly Johnson didn't make the cut

Very true. She's certainly more deserving than Britt Ekland.
