If anyone is interested "Detonator: Death Train" (1993) and "Detonator 2: Night Watch" (1995) are coming out on a double feature Region 1 DVD August 30, 2005.

Death Train has been out on Region 4 DVD for a while (I have it). I'd like to see Night Watch arrive here at some point, too (which I haven't seen).

Death Train is decent enough for a telemovie.

Both Death Train and Night Watch have been on Region 1 for quite a while as well. But this new DVD is one DVD box, and what looks like just one DVD with both movies on it. Definitely a money and space saver if one was planning purchasing both before now.

I've never seen either film to be honest, what are they like?

I remember seeing a USA promo for "Allistar MacLean's Death Train" (even have it on one of my Game Show tapes from years ago). I always wanted to see this film since I have a slight fascination with trains.

Hopefully the quality of these DVDs are good.

Death Train is available here, I own it on DVD. As for Nightwatch that's a different matter.
