Also, which of the two is your favorite and why?

I think he had more recognizable look and scenes.
(like the one in the Golf club where he demonstrats his hat, Jaws had nothing beside his teeth)
And I prefer Oddjob because he wasn't destoryed by not-so-funny jokes and dumb scenes (MOONRAKER for exemple). Whene you see Oddjob's face and expression you know his evil.
In my opinion, Jaws wasn't used right.
When I see him I begin to laugh- he just looks like an idiot and an incompetent henchman.

Oddjob is my favourite of the two, his fight with Bond in Fort Knox is amazing - he seems unstoppable. Jaws should have his due, though, as his physical presence with Moore's Bond made him very intimidating - e.g. in the carnival scene in Moonraker (before it gets silly).

In addition, Jaws gets more viewing time by virtual of being in two Bond movies.

Personally though I prefer Oddjob. I think Oddjob set the mold.in many ways, but as far as who is better known that has to be Jaws.

Personally, I will always consider Oddjob to be the prototype action movie henchman. He unnerved me when I first saw Goldfinger at age 8. And the fight with Bond in Fort Knox is an all-time cinema moment.
To be fair, I consider Jaws to be a top notch character as well, at least in his original incarnation. He unnerved me when I first watched TSWLM in 1977. And it worked in MR, until he bit the cable, and then met Dolly. After that, it was too farcical.

The fact that everyone wants to be Oddjob when they play GoldenEye 64 Multiplayer also helps.

So, my vote is for Oddjob.

Oddjob is my favorite because he is a classic villain.

Jaws is my favourite. I never liked Oddjob, and I really wanted Bond to kick his

The other reason I like Jaws better in a James Bond movie is because his presence is always amusing in every scene that he is in. I remember watching The Spy Who Loved Me and always being like, "where's Jaws? Where's Jaws?". Then I see a man walking in the distance, and I'm hoping it's Jaws; and then the camera shows you it's just Roger Moore as James Bond. Dammit!

Then I see Jaws, and I'm like "yeah!"
Jaws also got the benefit of going into outer space. Did Oddjob ever go into space? NeeoupE!

Jaws is also tougher than Oddjob; he lasted two films (not counting Everything or Nothing that

Oddjob was a villain. Jaws was a cartoon.
So, my vote is for Oddjob.
Your missing the point (as usual). The thread is asking who is better known, not who was the better henchperson.
I prefer Oddjob too as a character, but I had to vote for Jaws because I believe he is better known.
