Hey, thanks for putting my review up! :) I was glad to see it up there!

OHMSS is certainly one of the best 007 films. Why not?

Not at all, these articles besides providing some good reviews of the James Bond films from the best Bond site around also encourage others to add their reviews IMO. :)

No Bond film could be that bad.

LOL. How the heck did *I* make it on there? Is it just that I was the only one who dared to question THE KILT?

I'm thinking "yes".

You write an in-depth review of the movie - I add it in the 'CBn Reviews...' article for it. :)

Where do you submit reviews? I want to submit an in-depth one for TMWTGG when the time comes, and even LALD if it's not too late.

Not too late at all! These are the threads in the link below - you can review any of the films in any of the threads. The idea being you review your least favorite (20th) film in the 'Countdown - #20' thread and your all time favorite in the 'Countdown - #1' thread, etc...

I think Lazenby it is the best bond ever....
He was perfect. On the fighting scenes was the best.
With the women the same,,he was the best..HARD MAN.
James Bond has to be hard with women. And Lazenby did it,,,,like Connery sometimes...not right now,,,,,,in this times,,,with Brosnan...He is not hard man..not hard man.

The best fighting scene in the History of Bond is On the Lazenby

In comparison, DAD was Gigli. Although that one could have been a great film with a few changes. Wrong thread though.

It is one of the best out of the series, and Lazenby is not that bad. I brought movie with me while I was babysitting, and he was watching it. When it ended, he told me that he loved and he is like 7 years old.

It's so goood to see some people who really appreciate OHMSS - great music, beautiful Diana Rigg, great ski chase, real surroundings (Piz Gloria), lots of humour and a true romance. JB at his best!

...but what do you think about the other aspects of the film disregarding Lazenby? I'm speaking of Diana Rigg, Telly Savalas, the locations, music score, plot, etc.

A big old ten. Fantastic music, writing and directing. Lazenby does fine, and Savalas is underrated.

I gave it a 10. OHMSS is neck and neck with You Only Live Twice as my favourite Bond film. I find YOLT the most entertaining, while OHMSS the best artistically. It's let down a little by the middle Piz Gloria section, which is overlong and badly needed tightening. Fair enough, the leisurely pace is fine for the first third, but once the Bond/ Blofeld plot begins thinsg should have started to speed up.

Still, everything else I think is brilliant in this film, easily outweighing the pacing flaws. Lazenby is terrific-has there ever been a better performance by a first-time actor? Think of the scene where he proposes to Tracy-that is really good acting, and his inexperience helps in making his Bond more vulnerable. The action when it comes is simply thrilling, while the safe cracking scene might be the best directed scene in a Bond movie. The love story gives the film an emotional edge which no other Bond film has {well, until Casino Royale came along!},and the ending almost makes me cry,it's so sad!

Diana Rigg is gorgeous and a perfect match for Bond,Telly Savalas is a rare supervillain that takes part properly in the action, and the score, well,I'm quite into film music and the score for OHMSS is one of my favourites ever, definately John Barry's best. We Have All The Time In The World means alot to me,me and my wife had it played as our first dance when we got married. Another reason why I love OHMSS so much!
