[Evil Doctor Cheese]

Hello everybody! I have been facinated over the past month at the number of logos that have cropped up under posts as signatures rather than actual bits of writing.

Has anybody else got any planned apart from Mr Asterix and Trevelyn?

Also... second question... why isn't mine showing up under my posts but works fine as a picture in my profile? Can you help?

Okay I had this dream last night that Blue Eyes came to me and was mad that I started this whole image signature thing. I don't even know what he looks like, but there he was scalding me in my dream. Okay, I think he's one of those guys stuck into the graphic at the top of the page, but in my dream he was older, stronger, and meaner.

So anyway this ether Blue Eyes says to me, 'What the h*ll are you doing. We just got this money for a new server and now everyone is doing these graphics in there signature and it's just going to eat up all the new power we're getting with people downloading this little logos over and over again'

I said, 'Well, James Page had his MI6 graphic first. That's who I got the idea from.'

'Bullshrimp!' Eyes said. (or something like similar that can't be typed on a 'family' board) 'You know this is all your fault.'

I mumbled a sorry. And then asked for forgiveness.

Then there was this bit with this huge deer and a wolf or something that was blind when it was awake but could see while dreaming. I didn't understand that part.

I've seen message boards with real huge images and sigs and it makes the board look tacky, I'll have to shrink it down.

I've become a bit worried about this actually so I've ended up removing mine. It just felt that the board is becoming too cluttered. I'm sliding towards just more of a text signature now, they seem more professional.

Yeah thanks, Moores the man, I still like Connery, though slowly but surely I've been leaning towards Moore as my number one Bond. I just reakon he's cool, Moores Bond says things that only he could get away with. Only in AVTAK do I care about his age, in the rest of the films it doesn't worry me in the slightest. A bit too much self mockery in his performances perhaps, but dammit, who cares, Moores superb.

Anyway, the logos perhaps too big, I don't wanna abuse the privelidge of being able to have a logo, I've seen message boards with real huge images and sigs and it makes the board look tacky, I'll have to shrink it down.

I don't think it would be as bad if we could somehow get our text links at the right-hand side of the image... Are tables possible in the forums???

Okay I'm testing a couple of things here with my SigGfx. As I hope you can see you can put text next to the graphic. This could help you keep the size of your signature down. By using '[sub] [/sub]' around my graphic and using '[sup] [/sup]' around my text, the text should be kind of centred on the graphic.

I hope you can't see that I added a URL to my SigGfx so if you click on it you will be taken to a quicksearch of all my posts.

If anyone can see a box around my signature please let me know. I don't want that. Or if the text looks weird on your screen, also let me know, please.

I experimented with using a link on the image as well, you have probably seen it, but now I'm just going to drop all text as it does make it a bit too lengthy...
