What would you like to see after FRWL?

What I really really want to see after this one is OHMSS. Most people would like to see Connery return in another installment now that they've obtained his voice and likeliness for Russia, but personally I think EA should move on before it's too late. Recreating games such as
Goldfinger, Thunderball, YOLT, and Diamonds Are Forever, for example, would take so many years to make that by the time EA has finished them all, they're licence to create the Bond games will have expired. Personally, I think it would be a much smarter move if they did specific movies from each of the actors. That way, we could have the best of Connery, Lazenby, Moore, Dalton (and maybe another Brosnan) before 2010.
I would think OHMSS would be a very smart move. The film has lots of action sequences that would be great for a video game, like the ski-chases, the opening sequence, and especially the assualt on Piz Gloria at the end of the film. The engine would be exactly the same as Russia, only there will be new features like levels, vehicles, weapons, as well as George Lazenby's likeliness. Even a jetpack, if they want! (But I highly doubt it; would be cool, nonetheless- maybe as a cheat!) Everything would be almost exactly the same as Russia, only with the OHMSS theme behind it all. That would be my idea of a great game to follow up FRWL.
Now let's hear yours!

Also, how about original ideas/games with some of the "would-be" 007's - it would be interesting to see Clive Owen or Hugh Jackman lend their likeness to a game as James Bond. I don't know - just throwing ideas out there.
I think that FRWL is a step in the right direction, and yes, OHMSS should be next. Pull one from each actor first - Moonraker could be a great commercial game, as could The Living Daylights.

I actually think that Die Another Day would make a great Bond game. IMO, they probably should have made DAD a game and Everything or Nothing a movie.
Live and Let Die would make a great game also.

Nightfire isn't Moonraker. Other than the fact that the last level takes place in outer space (and that the villian's last name was similar to "Drax"), I can assure you, the two are very different games. I don't recall Bond fighting the Yakuza in Moonraker. And where's Jaws? Other than in multiplayer, he's not featured in the game.Moonraker was already done. It was called Nightfire.
How so? I never saw any Diamonds references in the entire game. (Not to mention, the game doesn't take place in America.)(To be honest, thats actually a mix of Diamonds are Forever and Moonraker.)
Moonraker could be a very cool game- especially in third person. We'd get to see Jaws again, as well as Hugo Drax, Mary Goodnight, and a whole slew of new gadgets like the "007" camera, the wrist dart launcher, and the laser gun as well. You could be able to fight that ninja guy in the jewelry store (if I recall, it was a store, right?), fight Jaws on the cable car while trying not to fall off, fall from an airplane, and maybe even ride super-fast in a space simulator while trying not to barf! They could even amp-up the boat chase and make it into a pretty cool level!Moonraker could be a great commercial game, as could The Living Daylights.
Living Daylights could have really good potential, as well. Especially the car chase sequences. (There could even be a level where you ride down the cello case!!! ) But personally, I think LTK has much better gaming potential. The semi-truck chase scene would make an excellent game, plus, Robert Davi would be a cinch to nab for the voice of Sanchez, considering he already provided his voice for Halo 2. Personally, I would be happy if somehow they merged TLD with LTK to make the ultimate Dalton Bond game. Love it!

That said, Thunderball would probably be my choice for the next adapted game. Of course, I don't know anymore. From Russia With Love looks cool, but they took the jet pack away from Thunderball and it appears as though they're going to overuse it as a feature for this game. I would have preferred a more faithful adaptation for From Russia With Love, meaning in the realm of the film or novel, instead of just anything from a Bond film goes. I hope whatever they choose to do, they don't just throw in technology that won't be available for 40 or so years.

the office complex level in nightfire reminds me a lot of DAF (especially riding the elevator). the fact that the villians plot is taking a master race into space screams MR to me. (that is his plot, right? i havnt played it in a while.) also, the henchman is very similar to jaws as far as i'm concerned.
i agree on the all dalton game. and it would be simple to get the voices for. it would also be nice to see the dalton films get some recognition for the video game playing crowd.

I cannot think of any other Bond film so rich in varied and exciting material for a game (one of Barry's finest scores, too - be great if they could use it).
Or they could go with Fleming's "You Only Live Twice" (a bold idea, eh?), or blend the novel and the film, thus introducing Dr Shatterhand's garden of death (which could be Blofeld's hobby on weekends when he's not busy in his volcano trying to bring about World War III ).
LICENCE TO KILL and DIE ANOTHER DAY would be good choices, too - heck, I'd even welcome a MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN game.... but YOLT would be overwhelmingly my top choice (with Connery voicing Bond, of courshe).

Quite. We've already had GoldenEye through The World Is Not Enough. Why not take Die Another Day on next?

When has Mary Goodnight appeared in Moonraker. Have you got the uncut version or something.

Getting the then-current Bond, Pierce Brosnan, to appear in a game was a great piece of cross-promotion.
Enticing Connery back to play Bond in a game was a stroke of genius.
But what's Lazenby to the casual fan?
I think a game based on On Her Majesty’s Secret Service would receive a similar commercial reaction to the film. In any case, the ending's a bit of a downer. Bond's wife dies, while the principal villains escape? And can anyone honestly picture Lazenby's mug plastered all over a brand new Bond product?
Then again, I'd love to hear Paul Oakenfold's take on Nina's "Do You Know How Christmas Trees Are Grown?".

In a word...

If Moore, THE SPY WHO LOVED ME seems the best bet - after all, it's probably the best-loved of all the Bond films as far as the general public is concerned. Done properly, a TSWLM game could go through the roof.
Loomis said it. If it's Moore, my pick is The Spy Who Loved Me. (But I would definitely not complain if I saw Moonraker or Octopussy either.)

Perhaps they could hire Roger Moore for the voice acting and us his likeness?
But I guess the issue that I have with adapting existing films into video games is that you are already familiar with the characters and the major plot points of the story.
Personally, I would rather that Electronic Arts steal, or be inspired by, the best set pieces of the series and then come up with an original story line, characters, and title so that there are some surprises.

Lazenby is younger(64), also I dont think a game with Lazenby can sell. 5 to 10 years later they can have Dalton with TLD.

I say hire Moore first. He is old enough(78) and he deserves atleast a game, for a goodbye maybe TSWLM or FYEO would be great to play.
Lazenby is younger(64), also I dont think a game with Lazenby can sell. 5 to 10 years later they can have Dalton with TLD.
I doubt they'd go for Dalton or Lazenby as the public seems to know Connery and Moore much more.

Joe Public can be launched into hyperspace for all I care. Good video games should have a great playability factor and storyline, not just celebrity voice acting and graphics that cause mass public appeal. That's what I think.A game based on On Her Majesty’s Secret Service would be sweet, but would it have mass appeal? Sure, done right, us fans would embrace it, but what about Joe Public?
