Oh, I whole-heartedly agree, ACE. Fiona Volpe gets that title hands down. I wouldn't mind capsizing her twice in one night (know what I mean, nudge-nudge). Helga Brandt, in my opinion, didn't look like a true, blue redhead (blue..., red.....uhh, whatever). Tiffany Case, on the whole, just isn't my cup of tea. She seems too.... I don't even know what she is, she just didn't float my boat. Fiona Volpe is my #1.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who's noticed Bond's "thing" for redheads.

As a perfectly straight thank-you-very-much female, I still cast my vote for Fiona Volpe, who is, as someone above me said, "hot".

Oh, and Tracy doesn't belong here mainly because she wasn't really, strictly Connery era, I think.

I picked Fiona Volpe. She was very hot. In fact, I think that in a single Bond movie where you have several Bond girls, probably the Thunderball girls were the hottest combination. I can't really think of another Bond movie where both good and bad Bond girls are equally stunning.

Anyone else agree?

Yeah, but it would be tough to choose between her and Domino Derval. Both girls in Thunderball were gorgeous!! I'd have them both!

I guess Fiona just has a fiery presence while Tiffany seems a little too mature looking or something.

I guess it has something to do with the accent. I find it hot when she's all like, "The noise'll go on all night anyhow. Enough to drive you wild; you like wild things Mr. Bond, James Bond?" and what takes the cake for me is the line, "Do you think I'll be......saaaafe?" Ah, Fiona, sweet, Fiona.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I was not overly impressed with the other two, but Volpe is a keeper.

Yes... Considerably!

Tiffany did look quite fetching while switching wigs in her undies, and looked stunning with the machine gun in the big shoot-out scene on the oil platform.

But Fiona practically sizzled with sex appeal - in particularl I'm thinking of her in the leather motorcycle gear after dumping the bike in the drink and pulling off the helmet. Sizzling!

No, it is most definitely not just you, Laz. I've long considered THUNDERBALL to be the best movie of the series in terms of girl watching: Claudine Auger... Molly Peters... Martine Beswick... Lucianna Paluzzi(mmmm!)...

What is not to love? I cast my vote for Fiona Volpe, naturally.

THUNDERBALL is my fav Bond film and on my top 10 list of greatest films of all time. Fiona is a big part of why that film is so great. Did I vote for her?

I think there are some redheads missing from the list.

But of those who are on it, I would have to go with Luciana Paluzzi's Fiona Volpe. Wild and sexy in and out of bed. :P

And I too love Bond's response and sitting back to enjoy the view after she asks him for a favor. It's arguably the funniest/most Bondian scene of the series. Absolutely perfect. Oh the things he does for England. :)

I'm surprised I missed this thread first time around.

And I'm even more surprised I'm only one of four people to vote for Helga. Sure, Fiona was a more developed character, but in terms of out-and-out looks, does she really deserve a 70-4 lead in the voting? :)
