The Corrine and the dobermans scene is also a great scene. It seems so out of place in a film that has Jaws and Dolly running into each others' arms.

That movie does seem to suffer from a split-personality. It starts off great with an exciting precredits, the tension of the centrifuge scene, the attack of the dobermans and the classic Bond humor of Bond shooting the assassin in the tree.

But then it all goes to pieces with the ridiculous gondala scene, the cringe inducing Jaws-Dolly stuff and Bond playing Buck Rogers in outer space.

Well I will be very honest I will never ever like TSWLM because it has the Lawrence of Arabia music in it. And yes I am Turk. It seems little but its important. You cant expect a Korean to like DAD can you?

Moonraker sounded great when it first came out. It was quite a spectacle, but I was disappointed how far it swayed into space (figuratively and literally).

TSWLM is a superior movie because the plot is tighter.

Quite the opposite is true regarding the novels, however.

Right, MOONRAKER is one of my favorite Fleming novels.
