Houston Grand Opera will host a panoply of artistic talent on Saturday, April 30, 2005 when it holds its 50th Anniversary Golden Jubilee gala. The gala is the creation of HGO General Director David Gockley, Music Director Patrick Summers, and 50th anniversary season chair Lynn Wyatt, internationally renowned philanthropist.
The Master of Ceremonies is Sir Roger Moore of 007 fame, and other committee members include First Lady Mrs. Ronald Reagan, Sarah, the Duchess of York, actress Joan Collins, H.S.H. Prince Albert of Monaco, British ambassador Sir Christopher and Lady Catherine Meyer, designer Karl Lagerfield, opera
