For those who have not yet noticed, CBN_Rules has been "discharged" from the CBn forums.
Yes, I noticed that (to great relief) earlier today. I think it's generally in quite poor taste to celebrate people being given the boot, but in this case, I think I'll allow myself the sin of a mild "huzzah!". Thanks to the staff for upholding CBn's standards.

Methinks I detect the foul smell of American chauvinism in the designation of various Bond films as "hits" or "flops." Ever notice that these designations are only applied if they were less than successful in North America? Notice as well that some Bonds that did bang-up business in the States (Octopussy is one example) came up under-par in the world market. Interesting -- funny enough, too, that some of the films that seem to be most aimed at American audiences (AVTAK, LTK) do not do as well in the U.S. as expected.
