Love how they throw on a "Harry Potter Store" link too.

Everywhere you go in amazon.co.uk there is a link for it. It's the same in the book shops in the UK. EVERYWHERE is advertising the launch of the book, asking you to pre-order it. I don't see the point really as the print run for this will be huge. I seem to recall that after the release of the last one there were still piles of 1st editions hanging about in shops.

Oh I hadn't realized it was in all of them. I thought because of the storyline to this one, they'd toss in the Harry Potter link once more.

As I read that, it's referring to purchase the US hardback; this isn't a UK hardback edition.

Thanks, Brix. But [dark] is right. This isn't a UK hardback. It's the U.S. hardback available via Amazon.co.uk. Note that Miramax Books is the publisher and the release date isn't until June.

I suspected as much which is why I phrased the topic as such. I thought it might well be the American copy. However, that said I am happy to be getting the book in harback without the hassle of paying customs charges!

Wonder why amazon.com doesn't do that.

I have no idea, Qwerty. I think it's all a big conspiracy to make my life harder.
