Wow! To own that book would be beyond outstanding.

Very cool that alot of Fleming items show up at that event, the signed On Her Majesty’s Secret Service seems like a great collectible as well.

Putting these books together in one pic might be sacrilege, but here's a Casino first next to the ultra rare SilverFin first. :)

I'd call Casino Royale the ultra-rare one. :)

I got my CR first edition a few years ago. I found it through ABC?, something like that, I think. It came in a leather bound slip case. Very cool. It was in remarkably good shape too. It was the last first edition to complete my collection. I think they had a signed first for $75 thousand. Too rich for me. :) I found all of the US and UK firsts from Fleming, Amis, Gardner, and Benson. All of the Gardner and Benson books are signed.

This is excellent news for owners of these books. But I feel the nostalgic and sentimental value out weights the financial value. :)

I wish my father was heavily into James Bond and bought ALL the first editions. :)

I suspect you have a few first editions tucked away zencat my friend?. :)

ABE Books, was it, SA007? A great site for finding the book you want.

Blofeld's Cat, thanks, yeah that's it. I think I found about six of the books on there. I had to send one back. It was not in as good of shape as advertised. Some of the Fleming firsts I have, do not appear to have ever been open (Octopussy, TMWGG, and OHMSS).

A customer of mine, who has also become a friend, is best friends with Raymond Benson. I sent him all of those books and he signed them. I had a harder time getting Gardner to sign his books. A business associate (who suggested most of the guns Gardner used) helped me out on that score. All the books are signed to me, which makes them less valuable than if they just signed their names, but I have no plans on selling any of them. I have a room that is a safe 12'X 12' that I keep all of my 007 stuff in.
