Would anyone be able to help me write a biography of James Bond (the character) that is quite lenghty and detailed? I'd want to include some references and footnotes and all with it so it may take a little bit of work! Any offers would be great!!

Did you know that Fleming's biographer, John Pearson, also wrote a biography of the James Bond of Fleming's books in the early 70s. I think it was reissued in paperback about five years ago. I don't mean to say that you shouldn't try a new one, though. Bond's been a busy boy in the intervening years.

Yes I did find out about the bioi. But apparently it's very fictionalised. It brings in details that aren't entirely true - for instance Bond's birthdate which really is unknown.
But I've discovered my university library has a copy so now it's just a matter of finding it!!

Your'e right, it goes way beyond Fleming, bringing in lots of other characters and events and even goes so far as to dismiss all the events of "Moonraker" as not having really happened!
