What other movies does everyone like watching?

I personally love the HalloweeN films. Starring the one and only Donald Pleasence as Dr. Sam Loomis. I've seen them all except HalloweeN 6:The Curse Of Michael Myers (it hasn't been released on Region2 DVD and the video is so hard to track down). They're all pretty good, although 5 was a bit of a letdown and H20 could have been soooo much better.
I'm definitely looking forward to the release of Hall8weeN: Resurrection
in July. Only thing, I won't be able to go and see it as I'm only 16.
I also like watching the Jaws movies. The first one is a classic and 2 is just as good. The third one's great especially if you wear 3-D glasses for the computerized 3-d parts. Jaws: The Revenge isn't all that could though. Sure, it had Michael Caine, but his character seemed bored in the film and the storyline was drab. I really do hope that Universal get their act together and make the long rumoured/awaited 'Jaws 5: Darkest Waters'. It'd be great!
I also pretty much like all action and horror movies. My personal Horror favourites are:
Scream
Scream 2
Scream 3
I Know What You Did Last Summer
I Still Know What You Did Last Summer*
These are pretty much all 90s teen slasher flicks and aren't as epic as the classics such as The Exorcist, but I still have a soft spot for them. I also like a load of action films but it's too many too list.
So, what do you all like watching?
*I seriously doubt this, but does anyone have any info on the third installment 'Final Hook' (working title) otherwise known as 'I Will Always Know What You Did That Summer'. I've been trying to get some for weeks but It seems limited on the net.
PS. Sorry if there is a topic like this already in existence. I didn't see it (if there is one) and so have assumed that this topic has not yet been started.
Regards.

I also rented The Sting and The Man Who Would Be King today. My parents liked those ones, thought I'd give 'em a go.

But I don't particularly care for loud films who's sole reason is to be loud (Bruckheimer) or treacly romantic comedies (Meg Ryan) that for some reason believe they don't actually require a script. Oh and gross out comedies which I have to be threatened with torture to see.

I must say, it gave me the chills. The mask looks superb and is definitely one of the best from he sequels. I cannot wait to see this movie. Being in the UK I have to wait until October fo it's release. Those in the US can see the trailer in theatres, it should be attached to most prints of Jason X.

On a brighter note, Double-Oh-Zero, I did find out lots about the forth Indiana Jones movie. However, its not all good news:
Release Date: Unknown; George Lucas told TheForce.net recently that this would certainly have to wait until after he finishes Star Wars Episode III, so the summer of 2006 is probably the earliest possible target (and that's just "maybe").
Cast: Harrison Ford (Indiana Jones), Karen Allen (cameo) (Marion Ravenwood), Kate Capshaw (cameo) (Wilhelmina Scott); Other cast are not yet announced. (9/21/00) Ford mentioned in a recent interview that he hopes Sean Connery will return for the sequel.
Based upon: This is, of course, the 4th in the world-famous Indiana Jones series. The third film was 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Indiana Jones, is of course, an archaelogist who has amazing, roller-coaster-ride adventures, usually in the 1930's, but this 4th film, released over 12 years after the last, may be set as far in the future as the 1950's or 1960's when Indy is an old man. (That last bit hasn't been confirmed; it's just a guess)
Seeing as I am here, here are my favourite movies:
American Pie I and II
Blade
Blade Runner
Casino
Con Air
Forrest Gump
Gladiator
Goodfellas
Hunt for Red October
Independence Day
Indiana Jones Trilogy
Lethal Weapon I, II and III (Haven't seen IV yet)
Liar Liar
Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (Directors Cut)
Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring
Mad Max II (haven't seen the others, but I also heard there will be a Mad Max IV starring Heath Ledger with Gibson as Director)
The Matrix
Meet the Parents
Men In Black
Mrs Doubtfire
The Mummy and The Mummy Returns
The Rock
Rocky I and II (After that it was just repeating)
Rush Hour I and II
The Shawshank Redemption
The Sixth Sense
Star Wars I (I want to watch the trilogy after Episode III is released in 2005)
Trading Places
X-Men
Looking at all of your movies theres a lot I have seen listed that I wanted to see but never found the time to like Fight Club.

Thanks for the info. I recently went to ign.com and they said the same basic thing. Only they said that Spielberg confirmed the appearance of Capshaw as a supporting character, not just a cameo. What's the betting that Harrison will trade in his whip for a walker?

Anyway, the number of sigs on the HalloweeN 6 petition has now risen to 237. Thanks to everyone who has already signed it and thanks in advance to those who are yet to do so.
Here's the address:
http://www.petitiononline.com/h6pc
I actually saw this cut of the movie today and let me tell you, although the quality was p**s poor, the movie is far better than any of the other sequels and makes so much more sense than the released cut. The ending's much better and almost all the questions you will have had are answered by this. Excellent film.
Goodnight.

As you may or may not know, there were two versions of 'HalloweeN:The Curse Of Michael Myers' produced. The first cut was far superior to the final and has so far never been officially released. It is extremely sought after by die-hard fans and so far the only copies available are illegal bootlegs.
This leads me to the favour that I'm asking you all to do me. The HalloweeN fan community would seriously like to see the release of the 'Producer's Cut' of the movie. To do this, a petition has been set up to urge 'Dimension Films', who made the picture, to release a VHS/DVD which incorporates both versions of the film.
All you have to do is leave your name and a valid e-mail address. You will not receive any SPAM as a result of this, and the only e-mail you will receive is confirmation of your signing, which does not need to be replied to, and contains a letter that can be copied and sent to your friends, to urge them to vote. You can also leave any comments you wish to make, when you sign.
This is the link to the petition:
http://www.PetitionOnline.com/h6pc/
and these are links to sites which contain info on both versions of the film:
http://konker.tripod.com/curse.html
http://www.joblo.com.../halloween6.htm
http://www.joblo.com...halloween6b.htm
http://www.halloween...site/h6pcut.htm
Many thanks everyone and I hope it is OK that I posted this here. Feel free to delete it if you want Dan.
You don't have to vote if you don't want to; but every vote counts. Currently: 187 and rising.

Sunset Boulevard - Good flick. I like Lloyd Webbers musical version as well thought I must admit, I've only ever heard the Patti LaPone version and not seen it on stage! On that, it's rumoured that ALW is consider Dame Judi for the title role in the film adaptation!
Back To The Future Trilogy - Great film series! Love 'em!
The Untouchables
Fight Club - I was on Zencat's website and I noticed a script he'd written Catfighter and it mentioned it was a cross between one film and Fight Club. So I went out and watched Fight Club. What a drug induced trip that film is!?!?!

Christ, I'm conventionally pretentious. There are many more, but having a series of offspring under 10, it's very rare when I can watch any of the above in the evening. We frequently end up watching something horrid and plastic like Back to the Future, or that superannuated Muppet show thing about Jedi and whatnot.
