I think this novel, and future novel's should be released at the same time.
I mean, goddamn it, the USA make-up a Hugh amount of any worldwide sales.
"bloody tourist Anglaise".

A good suggestion, but I'm worried by the time the book arrives, It'll have hit US shelves already and I'll have wasted my money on shipping. I suppose I'll just be patient and wait until 27th April, but it's difficult. I'll make due by attempting to start and finish YOLT. And if there's still time before SF's release, maybe I'll reread Casino Royale, just for the hell of it.Could probably order it from there if you wanted, not sure how much shipping would rise the price though however.

I don't know. As soon as the ad campaign starts, things will probably pick up. Also, with children, when one kid reads a book and talks about it with his mates, the news spreads like wildfire. That's exactly what happened with "H. Potter."I don't see much of any anticipation for SILVERFIN in the USA. Look at its Amazon.com sales rank - it's in the 1,000s. I doubt this book will make much of a splash here in the USA. I've already got my UK edition so I will not be purchasing a second copy.
I'm fairly confident SilverFin will be a moderate success in the US.

Well the book isn't out yet naturally as you know. I expect to see a somewhat better ranking once April 27th rolls around for SilverFin. It's the first in a series, so I guess that leads to the point that pre-ordering may not be through the roof so to speak.
