To put in perspective though, the record on the old boards was 95 in one day back when the Sth Africa scouting rumours were flying around.

I noticed that there were loads of guests around here at that time. Only 15 or 20 of those were registered users. If there's not a huge block of registered users online at the bottom of the page, one sometimes does not notice the amount of people who are actually browsing the board. The delay of B21 may have caused a bit of interest, and regarding the lack of official news, people came here (and maybe to other boards) to see if they find anything.

Could as well be that we already have Sony's complete legal department on our heels... :)

Now, now, now...Leave the girls out of it...They were acting in a purely professional capacity....

and trust me...They were real Pro's. :)

:)

I think there was also a lot of interest in the Sony/Times article.

I actually think 95 is incorrect. If I remember correctly, the number was 106.

Hey Qwerty,

I tried to do a search for this thread but couldn't find it. :)

Well done CBn....I couldn't believe it when I noticed that we had 59 guests, 16 members and 2 spider bots online.

This is always good to see, and isn't it incredible why there's such a serge at a no particular time?.

Bondian opens up a bottle of shampoo..here's to another 77 extra members online. :)

All the best,

Cheers,

Ian

I quite agree that it's often a bit odd to see when the record-breaking days happen. One can even notice Zencat's remark on the past record: "Why today...I have no idea."

Just happens. :)

Onto breaking 106.

Judging by 'last click', the main thread that was being viewed was "Martin Campbell Bond 21" thread, but only 6 guests and members were viewing. :)

CBn - the place for Bond news and dicussion has hit another all time high - with 82 members online at once today at February 3, 2005, 02:18 PM (ET).

No doubt we'll soon break the ultimate record of 106.

Congrats all! :)
