Seems to me that almost everyone hates Christmas
It's like clowns I get the feeling that both people who like clowns and people who hate them think that almost everyone else likes them.
Is it the same with Christmas? I like Christmas and thought that everyone else did, it seems I'm wrong. S'pose I haven't asked EVERYONE.

Where did you get that impression? I know many, many, many people who love Christmas like myself. Christmas is the most enchanting time of the year, and the only thing it really has going against itself is the commercıalısm.

I liked Christmas before, but since last year I changed my views on it. It's probably my financial status. It's in the toilet. And since I only live with my mom, there's not a big family Chrismas spirit anymore.

Almost everyone hates Christmas? Perhaps some find certain holidays to be distressing at times, but I wouldn't say everyone hates Christmas. I find it to be a pretty enjoyable time of the year personally.

That's odd.
The only person I know who hates Christmas is my Aunt, but then again she hates all holidays.

I love any holiday where I get presents. Christmas is my favorite holiday!

You often feel guilty about enjoying it as you think about others who don't have as much as you like a homeless person on their own, but am I not allowed to enjoy even one day of the 12 days of Xmas?
Athena, I know people will be sick of me banging on about this, but I put a bit of effort into it. I thought I'd get more hits.
I'll recommend you for an Oscar.

Right I'll give over about that.
Christmas, what traditions do you have. We have a Christmas breakfast, then we open our presents. I get more now than I did as a kid, (in financial terms).

Love Christmas. It's the best holiday of the year for both religious and secular reasons. I not only like getting gifts I also like giving them to people.
I know what you are saying about the guilt Dr. That's why our family makes a point to donate toys to as many organizations as we can each year. We spend about the same on others as we do on our own family so everyone can share the holiday love.

I like Christmas, not so much Christmas music, anymore, though. Working retail has turned me off of it.
I get to see family that I rarely get to see. What's wrong with that? I get presents, but also give too. What's wrong with that?
It's harmless.

I disagree with the idea of stations playing non-stop Christmas music for what, a month, or two weeks, whatever. Don't overdo it.
