Just want to share this info with you all.Iwrote email to Richard Shepard last nite about Matador and a remake for The Mercy.

Dear Mr Shepard

I've been following your carrier since I stumble into The Mercy (one of all time best thriller ).I'm excited to see that you will be premiering your most expensive film The Matador in Sundance this January. I really hope your future will augurs well after the premiere of Matador.
Few question

1. When will a proper official site and poster for Matador be available.
2. What is your expectation/respond you expect to receive from critic at Sundance.
3. Are you confidence Matador will get a theatrical release in US or it will go straight TO DVD?
4. Last but not least you should remake The Mercy with Brosnan. What do you think?

Hey Templer! Thanks a lot the for the email.
I excited to premiere The Matador at sundance, where we will also be trying to sell the world rights. (the film was made with private money from investors and a german company). Until we sell it we won't have an official site, or poster. We're all pretty certain that the movie has theatrical potentential, mostly due to pierce Brosnan's incredible performance in the movie. It is like nothing you've seen before. Hopefully the critics will appreciate that. As for remaking MERCY with Pierce, I hadn't thought of it... but now that you mention it....
Are you a film fan or filmmaker?

If I can still remember I read an interview with Salma Hayek about After The Sunset ,she did mention in her interview that Brosnan show her a bit of The Matador .

Q.Can you both talk about your upcoming films, The Matador and Bandidas?

Salma Hayek: I can talk about The Matador, he showed me pieces of it. It's really good and you've never seen him like this.

I wonder what kind of acting can we expect from Brosnan this time?
