I was starting to get a bit worried. For the last fortnight or so I've been unable to log in to CBnet, and looking at the message board, it looks like nobody else has been able to either.

Well, just to say that its great to see it back, and I hope that I'm not the last person left alive....

We're back alright and we'll have lots of news asap. You're not the only person who couldn't log into the site.

The site crashed due to a technical error with our server. Our Technical Manager was away on holiday and was unable to do anything until he got back - today. We'd like to thank Greg for getting us back online again.

Me and him (Greg, Technical Manager) are going to holiday. Yep, his second one, so I won't be here for a week, so Blue Eyes will be the "boss".

Next week we are planning on launching our new version of COMMANDERBOND.NET, so start getting excited!

INT. M's OFFICE. DAY

M: The situation is critical, 007! Commander Dykes and the entire staff of
Station Aus has gone down. Our satellite comms have been trying to contact
him for the last week or so but no response.

007: (eyebrow raised) Have we tried Lazenby?

M: (indignant) Don't you read your briefs, 007? We did but he hasn't been in
Station Aus since 1969. Don't you realise that Dykes is the best man we have
in the entire southern hemisphere? He is second to none. If he has been
compromised in any way, Her Majesty's Secret Service will be considerably
weakened.

007: (straightening tie) Of course. I know Dykes but have never met him.
Good man, even by my standards.  Well, Ma'am, what do suggest has happened?

M: It's not my job to make suggestions. It's your job to find answers. Your
booked on the next Quantus flight to Melbourne. I want you to find out what
has happened to Dykes, ascertain the condition of Station Aus and make a
full report to me ASAP!

007: As you wish, Ma'am.

M: Oh, 007 ... make sure Dykes is OK!
