Well, I was going to get the game, but most of yall say it sucks, so... I'm not (thanks :) ) But I want to know what happens at the end of the game, how was Blofeld involved, and what was up with that octopus on GoldenEye's gun? I posted my theory a while ago, but I want to know if I was right.

In the game it is sort of implied that all the villains work for SPECTRE and operate out of the volcano lair (even Goldfinger and Scaramanga). Dr. No leaves SPECTRE and that is why Goldfinger is against him.

/spoiler.gif

At the end you kill Goldfinger and you and Scaramanga take your places as Blofeld's Right and left hand men.

Btw, I love the idea of the Octopus, a supermarket for supervillains.

Uh huh...but that's their opinion, and no offense (they've never played it). Maybe you should see all the community ratings on Gamespot and other forums (people who've actually played it). Maybe you'll see that you need to try it yourself. Blofeld, well, (sorry but no offense again, you all didn't tell the RIGHT story since you proabbly never played it). Well...he and Scaramanga were both involved in some set up on Goldfinger and Dr. No for some reason. And the Octopus, I guess all the criminal masterminds work for SPECTRE. Goldeneye was working for Goldfinger, goldfinger was in spectre, so Goldeneye gets the gun. Get it? I hope I have not offended anyone, but you really need to play the game before you start hating it cause of stupid reviews from one person's opinion who's probably only played 1/20 of the whole game. Find out yourself, beat the game and play multiplayer. I think you may see that this game is good. Or, you can just never try something because of one louzy, fat, reviewer who's not even played it except a tiny part and has played Halo 2 too much. It's all your choice.

Wow. That plot sucks.

So the man with the midas touch hands you a lovely golden eye with special powers, and you spit in his face? What a lovely moral to go by.

I'd 100% rather play Halo 2 than the GoldenEye Rogue Agent piece of :)! Halo 2 is a way better game with way better storyline. And the reviewers, like on IGN, give very good points on why the game sucks, like the fact that GoldenEye is a dull character with very little background, and that even though the game says "play like a villian" (marketing ploy), you play the game as you would play a James Bond videogame, or Halo 2, even though 007 and Master Cheif aren't considered villians for heavily machine-gunning their enemies and blasting them to hell with large bazookas and heavy-caliber weapons.

Are Splinter Cell's Sam Fisher, Halo 2's Master Chief, or Killzone's Templar deemed "evil" for blowing guys lights out? Nope. Your GoldenEye dude is void of doing anything more evil than Insomniac's furry platform character Ratchet. He shoots stuff, right? If you want bad-:) or evil game characters, play The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay or Manhunt; both are dark, violent games that genuinely explore the darker side of human nature. Rogue Agent is vanilla in comparison.

Quite, I found that part pretty interesting in the game. Wouldn't expect him to.

yeah its right. i beat the game. in the last mission you storm the volcano lair as a one manned army and kill everyone inside, even your own boss.

this game sux COMPARED TO HALO 2! that's pretty much what we've been saying this whole time. play it from a different POV and you might think differently, as i did. this game, nor killzone, were sony's answer to halo 2.

play the game and forget about graphics or HALO 2 (that game sux) and play it like you are the guy trying to take over the world, which you are. you'll soon realize that this game is good. EVERYONE OUT THERE HAS JUST BEEN COMPARING IT TO HALO 2.

Do you know why everyone compares Rogue Agent to Halo 2? Because Rogue Agent tore a huge chunk off Halo 2.

I'll explain for u Defender, one part that they took from Halo 2 is first of all the most noticable the dual-weilding. And thats about it.

Dual-wielding was created way before Halo 2 though. It was even in the original GoldenEye for hecks sake. Since then it's been used in many FPS's. Perfect Dark, Red Faction II, etc.

I don't think so. Halo 2 has proved to be the more popular game yet.

any game out there could use dual-weilding weapons! that does not mean they stole it from HALO 2! and one tiny element is not a "big chunk", as you said it was.

besides, the first HALO was better.
