Dr. No: I'm a member of SPECTRE James Bond: SPECTRE? Announcer: Do you have dry itchy scalp? Try Flake-a-Way to get rip of the embarrassment of dry-itchy scalp. Woman: I had dry itchy scalp and now I use Flake-a-Way and the dry itchy scalp is all gone. Man: My boss noticed I had dry itchy scalp and it was embarrassing, so I used Flake-a-Way and now I

Well quoted Mister A.
![]() It is what it is but it's Bond on one channel when there's nothing else better. Here's to BOND-ing with holidays. If it gets too frustrating with the commercials, go for your DVD's. ![]()

As if the commercials after commercials wouldn't be so bad... in Canada I don't even get ANY Bond marathon on Spike. D'oh! Well at least I can watch CSI.

I am listening to the Bond movie with all of the Afros in it. God, this one is bloody awful. It makes Die Another Day look like Masterpiece Theater.

Damn, Smoky and the Bond is still on. Proof that rednecks and James Bond don't mix,

Watched the end of Moonraker and the beginning of TWINE with the family (I wasn't the one who put it on, I swear!)
"How much longer does this marathon run? -Few days -Dammit!" ![]()

TWINE is the only real Bond movie on today. Ok, Octopussy isn't bad, but Live and Let Die and Moonraker really blow. And Spy Who Loved Me has Hermann Munster in it, and is insanely stupid.

I'm enjoying the little commercials they have where they have little one liners then clips from the films.
Some pretty good stuff on those commercials, can't say that about the others (especially the Snoop Dogg, Spike Video Game Awards *yawn*).

I haven't watched any of these films since last Christmas. How's the editing? Anything unneccesary taken out in this post nipplegate era?
I don't even know if they still have the rights, but in addition to their various commercial interruptions, AMC hacked the films to pieces when they showed them last winter, eliminating entire scenes, not just questionable content.

Loved it tonight. My friends ask me what I am watching, and I say, with a straight face, "Octopussy." I swear they think I'm watching pørn!

I don't think there's been too many problems lately with the editting of them. Seems to be the commercial intercutting.

I didn't see any editing in Thursday night. Krest's head explosion and several uses of "
![]() The commercial interruption didn't seem as bad as it was last year. I seem to remember TWINE's pre-credits sequence being cut by commercials last year and not this year. And seeing Snoop Dog watching the DOA girls was definately less annoying than those damn Clorox commercials they showed incessantly the year before last.

Posted 27 November 2004 - 06:15 AM They put some blurry squares on Barbara Bach's assets during the brief shower shot of TSWLM, General Pushkin's girlfriend in TLD, and also blurred the brief shot in Octopussy when Bond sees the women get out of the pool at Octopussy's palace. Since Spike does their "Uncut" movie series, they usually show every frame on all the movies they show and only edit the strongest language. But female body parts often get nixed.

Ah, I see. I guess I can see why they would then. Thanks for the info Adrian.

Commercials still ticked me off again. I enjoy watching them... but there is no need to drag a 2 hour movie to 3 hours. If they did 2 1/2 hours per film... they would be able to play them again.
