Quite simple really, here's a few choices here. I've picked what's considered by the public to be Connery's and Moore's best films, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, both Dalton films and Die Another Day.

Which would make the best Bond game?

I chose The Spy Who Loved Me, alone with two others so far.

With all the globe-trotting going on - including Atlantis and the tanker - there's plenty of scope for visuals and levels.

And Jaws would be back, which is a good thing.

I was one of the others that also chose The Spy Who Loved Me. I agree completely, I can see that game having lots to do.

I voted for GOLDFINGER, THE SPY WHO LOVED ME being my second choice. If the world needs another Bond game, it needs "classic Bond". Playing as Connery or Moore would be fun, and I can picture a GOLDFINGER or TSWLM game inspiring youngsters to check out the original film and other golden oldies of the Eon series, as well as the works of Fleming (yes, I'm ridiculously optimistic :) ), and I can't see "Agent Under Fire" or "Rogue Agent" or whatever the latest game is called (I'm not a gamer) having that effect, or at least being as likely to provoke an interest in "proper James Bond".

From this list, Goldfinger. Would make a great game, and has characters that people who aren't particularly hard-core Bonds are already familar with. Goldfinger, Odd Job and Pussy Galore are all appearing in the Rouge Agent, and presumably there will be a Fort Knox level too. Pity that they're not making Goldfinger right now instead, seems like the natural thing to do. Lends itself to a game due to the number of different locations too.

A The Man with the Golden Gun game would be great too. Would have to deviate from the film a bit, but the last stage in particular would be the same: The duel between Bond and Scaramanga in the funhouse. I can picture that in a game.

I have always pictured a LTK game. Why? Go [censored]ing figure, I'm weird.

My second choice being DAD.

On Her Majesty’s Secret Service is the one game I've been wanting to play for years.

DAD because of what I think they can put in the game. These are all separate levels.

1. The surfing scene in which you can't wipe out before getting to shore
2. Infiltrate the beach undetected, make it into the jungle, and capture Van Bierk.
3. Infiltrate Moon's base, don't blow your cover.
4. The Hovercraft Chase
5. Escape from the warship.
6. Make it to Raoul's Cigar factory, avoid contact with Cuban Police
7. Knock out the hotel thug and steal the Alvarez Clinc papers.
8. Infiltrate the Clinic. Don't blow your cover.
9. Find Zao.
10. Chase Zao out of the hospital and make contact with Jinx
11. Sword fight
12. Q virtual gunfight
13. Sneak into the biodomes, avoid detection
14. Find and rescue Jinx, defeat Kil
15. Unmask Gustav Graves
16. Escape from the biodomes and find the ice dragster
17. Elude the Icarus beam. Surf the glacier
18. Hijack a snowmoblie and make it back to the ice palace.
19. The Ice Chase. Make it back to the Palace in five minutes.
20. The Ice Palace chase, defeat Zao and rescue Jinx.
21. The Switchblades
22. Infiltrate the airbase and locate Graves. Board the airplane
23. Find Graves.
24. Defeat Gustav Graves and make it back to Jinx.
25. Open the back hatch and escape the crashing plane.

The end

I'm with Janus Assassin on this one. I really wish DAD was turned into a game, it would be fantastic.

How come no one voted for The Living Daylights? That would make a great game especially because you'd get to fight in the Aughgan Desert.

I'd particularly like a The Living Daylights game. I think it would have the potential to have quite a few levels and the plot brings forth many options.

I would love to see all of those movies be turned into games, but since that's not going to happen, I think the movie with the best potential to become a game would be Goldfinger. It's one of the best Bond movies, with the best villian in the entire series, not to mention it has Bond's best car.

Every Bond movie would be a tremendous game. They should slowly but surely adapt every one.

If I was the Activision boss, I would promptly get Licence To Kill made with Dalton.

Call me biased but I voted for Goldfinger. I just think that the battle between Bond and my namesake on the Fort Knox level would be sensational. All against the ticking clock of an atomic bomb!!!

Yes, it would be - but I fear it has been covered in parts far too much of late by GE:RA and the like.

I would go for something different with different locales to play in. OHMSS or a Dalton film. They can get some recogniton and airtime as well.

This is a bit of a blast from the past. :cooltongue:

I'd probably be happy with any of the choices from this poll, with the exception of Licence to Kill.
