It's a nice documentary, but for hardcore Bond fans it doesn't really have any interesting information. I would see it if you get the chance though. :)

Saw it and taped it when it was on TV a few years ago. Haven't really been compeled to watch it again. It's "okay". From memory it seemed to talk alot without actually saying anything, if you know what I mean. It is "Bond" though, so check it out.

Also: It's been at least three years since I've seen it, so I'm not certain about this, but I'm pretty sure that thoughout the piece it showed clips from every James Bond film (with title and year displayed at the bottom) except for FOR YOUR EYES ONLY. The forgotten Bond film indeed. :)

I own a VHS copy. It's a nice companion piece to the films. I showed it to a friend who just got all the 007 flicks on DVD last year and he seemed to enjoy it.

Sounds like it's similar to the E! True Hollywood Story about Bond. Same old details with no new interesting tidbits or juicy stuff. But it's Bond so I'd watch and tape it if I had the oportunity.

You can buy it online Bondian either in VHS or DVD I believe. Amazon has used copies I believe and eBay usually has something or another. I own it, and it is indeed a good amount of fluff, but it's rather fun.

Quite a good documentary, but it was all stuff I already knew about Bond. I read "James Bond, The Legacy" yesterday when I was at the mall, quite a good book as well.

It's the documentary to give to a beginning fan. That's basically when I got it.

Sorry, I missed this post. :)

Thank you very much for that, and I'll certainly purchase this. :)

Just a side note...we had 77 people online tonight in the forum of guests, bots and members.

Cheers Mate,

A&E Channel is showing it's bio of Ian Fleming at 4AM EST Sunday December 5, 2004. Immediately after it on American Movie Classics, the JAMES BOND STORY is shown again at 5AM.

I think the AMC thing is where they have Lewis Gilbert whining about OHMSS because they had Bond get married. He said how stupid it was and that Bond would never do that. To Lewis, I'd say, "But he can go into outer space?"

Gilbert never got Bond.
