Personally, I thought it was very below par. They should have left the series on the "walking into the sunset" scene and never dragged it back.

And there was another advert with a stretched Robin Reliant, parked outside the same casino.
I read that it was the most watched program the Christmas (20.5million people watched it.)

Isn't there suppose to be more? When do they come out?

I thought about starting an Only Fools And Horses thread. (About whether it should end or go on for a few years yet).
They say people respect things more if they end when they are popular. Apparently, they are more fondly thought of and remembered. I don't know why people are like this. Though I must add, I am not criticizing.
Watching Fools And Horses videos is an interest of mine. I think it should go on for a good few years yet.
Trivia note: Did you know that the man who played the corrupt cop, Chief-Inspector Roy Slater (Jim Broadbent), was originally going to play Del-Boy?

Despite the new one being not that great - the funeral sequence was ok, and the bit with Rodney dressed as the Gladiator was funny.

Did you ever see an episode called "The Russians are coming" where Del, Grandad and Rodney build a "nuclear fall out shelter" for themselves? The trouble is, they build it on the roof of their high rise flat.

Dave (03 Jan, 2002 06:19 p.m.):
I have to agree, I wish they were still living the high life. However, I suppose the writers couldn't find a good story within that.
As soon as they started using flashbacks I though, uh oh, this is going to be lame.
And did you expect Rodney to come out with lines like "negotiations with the Latin American countries broke down".
Yeah, right, Rodders! :-P

It had been written in a rush, shot in a rush and edited in a rush. This is what happens when things go into development late.
Bond 20 starts filming this month for release in November. Hmm.
