Well....
Damn!
That weekend must be some pivotal social-focal point in my universe.
Alas, I won't be able to make it. I'll be with Flicka celebrating her birthday in Vegas - Plans were set a loooooong time ago. Some other friends of mine also had invited me to San Francisco for an engagement party that very night as well.

Damn....That's the second time I've missed a screening of Goldfinger and it's been 15+ years since I last saw it on the big screen.
Eh...I'll bring my DVD and watch it in the suite during the inevitable "Bryce/Flicka Recovery Breakfast"
To the LA Crew - Do it up proper and take some pics.

Sounds very interesting. Have a good time to the usual attendees.

Well, to state the obvious, I'd strongly recommend anyone who can attend this screening to make a point of it. I've been lucky enough to have seen all the Bonds on the big screen (no, I wasn't born in the 50s -- there have been Bond film festivals that I've attended) and it's like seeing the films for the first time. There are all kinds of little things one sees/hears that video doesn't convey.

While I was at EA Studios this summer we got to watch Goldfinger in their theater on the big screen. It was great. I may go see it again

Did anyone go to this? Should I feel guilty for not going? Now had it been Moonraker...
