Looking at the official 20 films, plus Never Say Never Again, based on any merits you wish, appearance, actor/actress, role in the film, dialogue, anything...which do you prefer more, the villain or the Bond girl/woman?

The match-ups are as follows:

Dr. No: Dr. No / Honey Ryder
From Russia With Love: Rosa Klebb / Tatiana Romanova
Goldfinger: Auric Goldfinger / Pussy Galore
Thunderball: Emilio Largo / Domino Derval
You Only Live Twice: Ernst Stavro Blofeld / Kissy Suzuki
On Her Majesty’s Secret Service: Ernst Stavro Blofeld / Tracy di Vincenzo
Diamonds Are Forever: Ernst Stavro Blofeld / Tiffany Case
Live And Let Die: Dr. Kananga / Solitaire
The Man With The Golden Gun: Francisco Scaramanga / Mary Goodnight
The Spy Who Loved Me: Karl Stromberg / Anya Amasova
Moonraker: Hugo Drax / Holly Goodhead
For Your Eyes Only: Aristotle Kristatos / Melina Havelock
Octopussy: Kamal Khan / Octopussy
Never Say Never Again: Max Largo / Domino Petachi
A View To A Kill: Max Zorin / Stacey Sutton
The Living Daylights: Brad Whitaker - Georgi Koskov / Kara Milovy
Licence To Kill: Franz Sanchez / Pam Bouvier
GoldenEye: Alec Treveylan / Natayla Simonova
Tomorrow Never Dies: Elliot Carver / Wai Lin
The World Is Not Enough: Elektra King - Renard / Christmas Jones
Die Another Day: Gustav Graves / Jinx

The Bond women are important, but James Bond wouldn't be James Bond without the villians.

Oh certainly, this thread is actually picking each of them out though too.

So what you are saying Qwerty is that we have to say whether we like the villian or the girl better in each movie?

What the hell, I'll play along...

Dr. No: Honey Ryder - Go look at the newest cover of the book, you'll know why.
From Russia With Love: Tatiana Romanova -
Goldfinger: Auric Goldfinger - The most well known Bond villian... sorry Pussy
Thunderball: Domino Derval - Drool
You Only Live Twice: Ernst Stavro Blofeld
On Her Majesty

Dr. No- Honey Ryder
FRWL- Tatiana Romanova(No compitition there)
GF- Goldfinger
TB- Domino (The hottest of the Connery Girls)
YOLT- Blofeld (The first main villian that wasn't a physical threat to Bond)
OHMSS- Tracy (No contest)
DAF- Tiffany (because I don't like Gray's Blofeld)
LALD- Solitaire (Besides Anya- The second hottest Moore girl)
TMWTGG- Scaramanga ( The best villian of the Moore era)
TSWLM- Anya (enough said)
MR- Holly Goodhead (Beautiful and Brilliant)
FYEO- Melina (Never got into Kristatos all that much)
OP- Octopussy (Duh)
AVATK- Zorin ( Stacey quit your friggin whining already)
TLD- Kara (Weakest villains of the series)
LTK- Sanchez (Delivered some good lines.. "He disagreed with something that ate him")
GE- Natalya (Even though Trevelyan is my favorite villian gotta go with the girl)
TND- Carver ( I also sometimes quote him. Good antagonist)
TWINE- Gotta go with Christmas Jones ( she is too damn fine)
DAD- (You had to compare Gustav with Jinx.. it couldn't have been Miranda and Jinx)

Ok, I get it. I misunderstood

Dr. No- A tie
From Russia with Love-Tanya Romanova
Goldfinger-Goldfinger
Thunderball-Domino, my true love.
You Only Live Twice-Blofeld. But both villians are girls are weaker compared to the former films.
OHMSS-Tracy
DAF-None! :)
Live and Let Die-Solitare
TMWTGG-Easily, Scaramanga. The Bond girls are at their worst here.
SWLM-Anya
Moonraker-Drax
FYEO-Melina Havelock
Octopussy-Kamal Khan, surprisingly.
AVTAK-Max Zorin
TLD-Easily, Kara. The villians' low point in the series
LTK-Franz Sanchez. One of my favorites.
GOldeneye-Alec Treveylan (006)
TND-Carver, I suppose.
TWINE-Elektra King, Renard
DAD-None. Both suck

So, here's my tally: Minus a tie, and two undecisions, the villians are the winner for me, beating the Bond girls, 10-7. There you have it for me. :)

Good thread, Qwerty! :)

Thanks! I'm going to hopefully get a few more replies, add mine in, and then tally them up.

Dr. No: Honey Ryder (She sings!)
From Russia With Love: Tatiana Romanova
Goldfinger: Auric Goldfinger
Thunderball: Emilio Largo (It's the eye patch)
You Only Live Twice: Ernst Stavro Blofeld (Anyone who likes geology enough to build a secret lair in one is alright in my book)
On Her Majesty
