Well - it really has been snowing here for the last hour. All the way down from London...! It's great!
I've been skiing in Australia and that's as good as it gets for me. I'd love to experience a White Christmas. That would be heaven

Even though I see it all the time on TV and movies, I just could not imagine Christmas without a BBQ, swim in the pool, and a few cool ones to get into the festive season.
December Down Under.

Blue Eyes, you are lucky you are not in Sydney with all those bush fires threatening homes.Blue Eyes (25 Dec, 2001 09:11 p.m.):
I mentioned this in another thread. But here it goes again :
I GOT A WHITE CHRISTMAS! It's normally about 30 degress celcius on Christmas Day in Australia (the part I live anyway) and it only got to 15 degrees! And at about 4 in the afternoon we got a pile of rain followed by absolutely torrential hail stone which lasted about 15 minutes! So my back and front gardens were all white!! HOW FANTASTIC
I hope that CBN members are not affected in any way.

You know what, I have a family of magpies who visit every morning to drink from the sprinkler and then they sing (and the babies cry funnily enough) until we throw them some bread. How cute

I know i can be pedantic but, i always thought that every snowflake was different, it has different patterns to the next one! No snowflake is ever the same!
There's always one isn't there

I think that just shows that every flake is different.

Now I'm really jealous.
Me too now - the snow has melted!!! Argh! I was hoping it would stay up until Christmas, then it could be a "kind of" white christmas.
You see that pond, my dog feel into shortly after we taking that shot...she was sniffing those ducks!! stepped onto the ice, and ::-crack-::! Poor little thing.
That snow in Tim's photo looks really thick - great snow fights no doubt.
