We have added another field to your profiles: Next Bond.

And before anyone gets mad this means who you want after Pierce Brosnan, whenever he leaves. We tried to put in just about anyone we have heard mearly mentioned semi-seriously, so the list is quite long.

We are sure there were a few that were left off. If you feel an actor should be added to the list, post so here and we will add them when we get a chance.

Well I'm not fussed, so I've gone for "Whoever Eon choses."

Aas far as I'm concerned they've got it right over the last 40 years and 20 movies so I can still trust them to make the right choice even with Sony sticking their corporate snouts in.

I seem to recall that some of the folks round here thought that Jack Davenport was an appealing candidate. Is he on the list?

The perfect choice if they're going to go down the 28-32 route.

I've been away for a bit so I see there have been some improvements to the forum pages.

Not sure if this is required but the Quote title, in a quoted element of a post may need a space after it and before the bracketed name and date. ie. QUOTE -space- (Jim @ 17 October 2004 - 11:40)

Not a profound start to my return but a start nonetheless...

Hugh Jackman is still my number one choice, although I'd be fine with Owen as well. Now onto Bond 21.

Yes, it is. :)

It's also Julian McMahon, not MacMahon.

And yet, Ioan Gruffudd is spelled correctly. :)

You are certainly welcome. We try very hard to make this generic forum software Bond specific. Glad that it is appreciated.

Can you guys possibly add Johnny Depp? I've seen him today in Oprah, and he seems he has the suave coolness right for job. He's an unquestionably great actor. Better then half of the men on the list. Ricki Lee Travolta?

Look at his acting crodentials. He's not really my prime choice to be Bond, but I feel that he has a big fan base that some CBners might like him. Just a suggestion.

Is there an easy way to tally up how many users have chosen each candidate? I think that would be interesting information.

Not to be a pain, but, were these stats ever compiled, or is it easily possible to do so? I am really curious.

Stay tuned about the stats. :)

Anyway, in light what we've heard from Martin Canpbell recently is anyone going to change their choice to a "younger" Bond candidate?
