Hi everyone.

i ve just seen the previous topic about the possibility of a Bootleg score of TWINE. I don't think there is one.
Three years ago i think (time is going so fast...), i decided to extract some track, even if there was not an isolated score on the DVD. With some tricks i had the chance to get some tracks.
The sound is far from perfect, with sometimes some little FX, but i think it's better than just a recording of the normal audio track from the DVD.

At that time, i made a website and put the files. But since a long time ago the files were corrupted.
I've deleted the old website, and put just the files. Theses are on ZIp folder, because Lycos Multimania won't let me put mp3 files on my site.

Enjoy ! (until we get, hopefully a bootleg, or a way to get the file with better sound). And if you are a nerd at audio tweaking, maybe you could send me a PM, i think i have the .wav files, and try to improve my unreleased files. i think they lack some Bass and should be "louder".

Sorry "old man", but for me the best part of the musical score of "TWINE" is the opening 20 min's, and that's about it.

The Title song by 'Garbage' explains it all. It was the anaesthetic to the poor "Try another Day" Madonna garbage. Oh, it's funny how they both 'interTWINE'!. :)

Cheers,

Ian

Nice work you and Lotman did some great versions of TWINE rips. Would you ever consider ripping the whole movie Level?

I tried. But it won't work. Strangely i could extract correctly some track like the Pre Title sequence but others track like "Bond and Elektra skiing" has too much FX. Actualy the problem on this track is the sound of the helicopter.
I may try again, if i have some time....
I ll keep u in touch

Awesome. TWINE is probably my favourite Arnold Soundtrack, there's a lot on DAD and TND that I really like, but I still feel TWINE to be the most consistent. Thanks for coming through with this.

What I did was trying to combine the front and rear tracks to make the best possible extraction (subjectively naturally) - a balance between keeping down the SFX and having the music sound fuller. That would be the difference between my tracks and Level's (who took the rear channels if I'm not mistaken). I'm not entirely satisfied with my rip because I didn't know then how to lower the pitch (which affects the Bunker track).
Thanks for the compliment agent007jb!

One thing though...why is the End credits in mono? That would have been the easiest to mix, since there is no FX or dialogue, and you basically have to fold the 5.1 into 2 channel.

All you have to do is download Goldwave, and the software has various settings, if you want to raise and lower the pitch, reduce clicking and popping from vinyl rips...etc.

It's a good question. Actually, when i did the extraction it was a long time ago, and i didn't had a good audio extractor.
SO my End titles is quite unperfect compared to others.

The "Time To Die" track, is it from the part that M connects the battery to the locator card?

Have you done anymore towards ripping the rest of the score level?

Hey level007, since I'm being flooded with requests for the TWINE track by Straw, do you think if I sent it to you that you could host it?

It's done !

I uploaded the TWINE song by Straw.

I re-uploaded the "Twinen - gunbarrel and Bilbao" cause sometime it didn't worked (don't know why).

I uploaded three unreleased track from The Spy Who Loved Me. It s just small tracks with only the james bond theme in it.
- The Jump: it's in the PTS, after Bond open the parachutes
- The Camera: when bond is riding the camera in the Supertanker.
- Scooter des mers: this when bond is reaching the Atlantis with the jet ski.

Note that theses last three track where extracted from the dvd so the sound is far from perfect. Just a bonus for thoses who loves James bond Theme.

I'll put more unused song later on the site like "tomorrow never dies by Saint Germain, or The Man with the golden gun by Alice Cooper, and also the Japan song that was at the end of the Japan ALbum (and movie too) of TWINE

i hope too that nobody will make the error of buying this....
