Edited to add: Oh, right! *smacks forehead* Now I know what to watch

Yeah, just a fun quote there. :)

Their boards as a whole are awful.

Quite.

I'm sorry, but I feel the need to rant a little on those boards some more.

Unorganized, and untolerable are two words that perfectly describe them. A lot of users there think they know so much about Bond 21, when they know so little. One user even claimed that "Pierce Brosnan is Bond!" or something like that, and made it sound confirmed. On top of that, there is a certain member there that deems it necessary to be a mudslinger, and put down this site. He, and the ignorant members is what often keeps me from going there.

That is all.

Ranting is sometimes necessary; we won't hold it against you. Glad we can be the soft cushy CBn for you to fall into. :)

Yeah, it's really no longer fun when people argue about "this site is bad" and "this site sucks" and stupid stuff like that. We all have something in common, everyone from every Bond site: we enjoy the films, books, and James Bond in general. No need to fight or argue about anything. Doing so is redundant and unnecessary.

Yes, I am glad I found CBn as my Bond message board. Coming here has really made me love the films even more than I did before, and it makes me a smarter person for reading all the news. Now I am not one of those who follows whatever they say in the newspapers, or on TV. It's a good place to be, and it's good to have the *official* news right there in front of you, instead of the rumors that other media circuits provide.

:)

Quite so Jack Bauer, and it gets tiresome. I wouldn't even visit such messageboards for some of those reasons.

Not worth the effort really.

Fake for five reasons:

1: Russia has had enough national tragedy already. Thery're not going to make a movie about :) blowing up in Russia.

2: Russia has been over used. It's unlikely that we will see Russia in the next Bond film. After all, GoldenEye was just 4 films ago!

3: And I quote, "legitimate business empire." Remember when Purvis and Wade said, "Inside corruption is so dead"?

4: The surname "Falco" has already been used for a major character in the Bond universe; Damien Falco in Die Anither Day. They wouldn't use it again.

5: Like zencat said, Hank Scorpio was the name of a Bond villain from the Simpsons. No way they're going to use that.

Kudos to who ever attempted to trick us Bond fans. Maybe next time. D'oh! :)

Listen to me, IMDb always makes these stupid screw-ups. The same issue happened to me on another forum I was on, dedicated to Silent Hill. Some idiot wrote a stupid plot summary for the upcoming Silent Hill movie, saying that the character from the third game, Heather, was looking for her dad in the woods of Silent Hill and all this stupid crap. IMDb is really starting to piss me off now.

Don't worry about it, the summary is :). You can all sleep well tonight. :)

Unless they planned to make some such connection.

Since we're on Falco, I have it on good faith that 80s One Hit Wonder DiFalco, who sang Rock Me, Amedeus, will sing the theme song to Bond 21. There, take THAT, imdb :)

Falco, born in Vienna as Johann Hoelzel on Feb 19, 1957...

...don't ask me why I know that, I just do :)

He was a fun guy - at least that's how it looked in his vids. Da Commissar (sp?) was a toot.

Close, BC... "Der Kommissar" :) Ya, that video is pretty silly. The "Rock Me Amadeus" is silly as well with the multi-colored Amadeus wig.

It's quite a tragedy though that he was killed in a server car crash at only 40 years old on Feb 6, 1998. :)

As far as I can gather... some guy who wishes the Simpsons would turn into a Bond movie. AKA: we have no idea. :)

This account of events seems a bit loose too. I wonder if Lowrey wrote it.

He (Tarrantino) has apparently approached Eon Productions, which remains, according to Brosnan, unsure whether to go for a more Flemingesque production, thus risking lower returns (cf. For Your Eyes Only (1981) following Moonraker (1979)), or attempt to "top" Die Another Day (2002) (i.e. go even further down the sci-fi route).

I know for sure that Brosnan & Tarrantino have talked. But as for Tarrantino actually going to Eon Prod with his "ideas"... as far as I'm concerned that's a rumor.

Yes we should consider the plot

A precredit sequence in Egypt. Maybe Bond drives a car that has sand skis, can also cross water. Ends up skiing down the side of a pyrimid.

The bridge is "mysteriously destroyed" National monuments are destroyed worldwide. They are "attacked" in inverted commas, so not attacked in the way we would usually think, or they appear to have been attacked.

It could be a nanotechnology attack. Micro robots. Or an invisible lazer attack. Something along those lines. Maybe not lazer too close to last movie.

Bond is on a mission to investigate Richard Falco.

Why? Because Falco's Scorpio Industries is the largest private company that is at the forefront of this technology.

After meeting Falco {and his Bond girl!) perhaps Bond gives the game away. Falco's men discover he is a British Agent.

Bond cheats death several times and at Falco's secret exotic hideaway finally discovers Falco's plans, to topple national symbols to show the power of his technology.

He demands on taped messages sent to TV stations around the world his demands. He is a megalomaniac who wants to take control of the world. He threatens each country with further destruction, but on a catastrophic scale.

Bond must stop Falco (with Bond girl}and save the world.

Well it would be inappropriate to name suspects as that is all they are and probably innocent. I did some net searches for some key words in that summary and that led me to a couple of people on other boards, then there is the usual suspect :)
