previously on The Mole

Mole2 contestant Johnboy007 joined the game and the team for what was to be a frustrating challenge.

The Mole kidnapped Qwerty and hid him in one of the towers of Sagrada Familia, Barcelona's most famous building. Over the course of the largest challenge ever the team managed to track him only to Europe. The team missed out on 15,000 points and lost 6,000 they had already earned in the process. Out of a possible 29,000 points, they have only 3,000.

In the end TheJanusGroup was eliminated. 12 contestants remain, one of them is The Mole.

CHALLENGE 003

For now, you have been divided into the following teams :

RED TEAM
Baron Samendi
Qwerty
SnakeEyes

BLUE TEAM
Athena007
Jermaink
Grantbowler

ORANGE TEAM
Brix Bond
Astros
Bond111

GREEN TEAM
JamaineTrevett
Moonraker
Johnboy007

But this is challenge three, the game is getting serious and so now we introduce the games' favourite dangling carrot - exemption. Winning an exemption during a challenge means you cannot be eliminated during that round, in other words it is a free pass through to the next round. The offer of an exemption can make your team mates do what they otherwise would not. This week three exemptions are on offer. They will go to the last three players standing.

Each team will soon be issued with an email account ([email protected] through to [email protected]) and the respective password. Teams should wish to guard this password at all costs. To access the account teams will need to sign in to the server here.

Your goal is to overtake other team's accounts and shut them out of the game. The only way to do this will be to entice a member from another team to defect to yours, bringing the password with them. Once this has been done the defector's new team should change the password ASAP in order to lock the defector's former team mates out. Once this has been done the defector will announce his/her decision in this thread with appropriate details which, once confirmed, will see the defector's former team removed from the challenge.

For every player that is removed the entire team will earn 2,000 points.

The challenge will last 72 hours after which the team that is in control of the most email accounts will win and confirm this to me by PM'ing the correct passwords. An internal vote will then take place to decide which three will gain the exemptions.

What happens next is up to you,

mb

I think you'll find team orange a more acceptable proposition. Hows about it?

Not surprisingly the account has already had it's password changed.

This challenge was over before it even started.

All you idiots who want me on your team.... get stuffed.

Well, joining the red team is really the only option, because they certainly can't join you.

Join the red team, feel the power and the victory.

It seems leadership has emerged in some of the teams, with individual players changing the password themselves so their team mates cannot defect.

Interesting.

This challenge is going to go around in circles. Luckily for the mole, they can just sit back and relax.

Umm...that's usually the case for any challenge. We can get some points, if we do this right.

I'm not doing any defecting.

Brix, who changed the password won't be, I can't speak for bond11, but my guess is he won't be. And that's just the orange team.

I wish it was only going to 24 hours or at most, 48.
