am I the only one who thought he was actually OK in Pulp fiction and Reservoir Dogs? You mustn't forget Qwentin's cameo!! He loves to make the odd appearance in some of his films. So expect Quentin to be one of Q's assistants or playing blackjack in the casino scene. You won't fail to miss him. He'll be milking the scene for all it's worth. Probably be holding a 'hi mom, I am on screen' sign in his hand.

anyway, Tarantino wouldn't cast Jackman, he's too well known, tarantino would go for an unknown if brosnan wasn't availible.
I'd probably have it:
Bond: Brosnan (if Brosnan wasn't availible possibly Tim Roth, who would probably be a good bond, very hard edge.)
M: Dench
Q: doesn't fature in CR, but would be Cleese as the role is his now
Leiter: Pitt/Miscellaneous American guy, although more fitting to the fleming description, hence Pitt, although with a texan acccent)
Le Chiffre: the guy who plays bond, albeit with a bit of make up and so on.
Vesper: no idea - probably Hurley or some other silver spoon ized lass from the south

I could see Tarantino choosing Clive Owen. As he is not as known as Hugh Jackman is.anyway, Tarantino wouldn't cast Jackman, he's too well known, tarantino would go for an unknown if brosnan wasn't availible.

as far as owen goes, I haven't seen him, so I can't comment.
now jackman might start to suffer from schwarzenegerwillisitis, this is when you see Scwarzeneger or Willis in a film, and you aren't seeing the character, but you're seeing the star.
There's only a couple films where willis and Schwarzeneger have got away from this, Die hard and terminator series respectively.
Then you have someone like tim roth (I'm watching reservoir dogs at the moment, if I seem obsessed at the moment

It's happening more and more in hollywood, as producers and directors are overusing certain film stars (Samuel L Jackson comes to mind)

Owen might be an interesting choice for it. I don't agree with your point about Bruce Willis though. Watch The Sixth Sense or Unbreakable, you're seeing the character Willis plays, not just Willis.as far as owen goes, I haven't seen him, so I can't comment.

haven't seen either of them, not much point as I know the twists, but I'll see them one day, however they both had shyamalan directing, sounds like he can get a performance out of somebodyOwen might be an interesting choice for it. I can't wait till the 2 day DVD comes along, where you buy a dvd and it has a photoactive coat so two days after you expose it to light, it's unable to be read and thus defunct.
I have a lot of movies to see....

He most definitely can. Bruce Willis is better in Unbreakable IMO, and I certainly recommend you see them. Both very well put together with good performances. I thoroughly enjoy both films, even the overrated The Sixth Sense.haven't seen either of them, not much point as I know the twists, but I'll see them one day, however they both had shyamalan directing, sounds like he can get a performance out of somebodyOwen might be an interesting choice for it.
