... Martini: Grey Goose, look at the bottle of vermouth as you're making the drink (as Churchill used to say), double lemon twist, shaken....

Watch: Currently searching for a nice 60's cocktail watch which I plan to ostentatiously wear in the daylight :cooltongue: ....

Or, as one of my current clients likes to say, "at least make sure you walk past the vermouth as you're making it." Then again, there's a lot of that sort of thinking in my line of work....

Question: If there were a "List Your Favorite Words" Thread here, would you participate w/ "ostentatiously"? I've always rather fancied the word "anthropophagus," but there tends not to be much opportunity for using it outside of eight grade book reports on The Time Machine by H.G. Wells.

Wine - Red (Italy or France)

Scotch - The Macallan 12, Lagavulin 16

Movies - Alfred Hitchcock

Books - Raymond Chandler, Hard Case Crime, this Fleming fellow

Sports/activities - Golf, tennis, excercise (weights and treadmill) 6 days a week.

Women - Smart, worldly, beautiful, and not overly emotional. If you find such a creature, let me know

Computer - iMac (I have seen the light!)

Investment company - Vanguard
