Sideshow and Titan fans are going to want to have a look at this article. We have "in-the flesh" pics of all the upcoming Sideshow figures, and the cover art for the new Goldfinger book from Titan!

While all the Bond related pics are in the story (make sure you click to enlarge -- a new CBN feature) here are a collection of our personal pics from the con. :)

Great pictures of the new Sideshow figures. Someone obviously straightened the Wai Lin prototype's hair before she went in the case. Were any of the new Star Wars figures there?

I wish I'd been able to go but living several thousand miles away is always going to be a handicap. Still, I might one day meet Roman Dirge.

I didn't take any pics of the 1/4 scale Star Wars figures -- I was told there would be pictures on the Sideshow Comic-Con coverage site... hum... not very many...

Hmmm. His head with his body...

They look like they could be quite fun to collect but maybe I should save my money for Thunderball Sean Connery who, after some consideration, looks pretty damned great.

I'm also thinking of getting that Connery/Thunderball figure. I've held off on Connery...but this looks like the one to have. The Sideshow rep I was talking to (who was great, btw) asked me how CBner's were responding to the Connery/Thunderball figure. They seem to be especially proud of this one.

The only thing I don't like about it is the fact you can see all the joints on the figure. That and the oversight that means you can't remove Connery's wig.

Realism? Pah!

I did take a picture of the back-side of the Connery figure if you want to check it out (see attachment). I think the whole aqua-jetpack thing is C@@L! :)

Great article. Sorry I missed you guys. There's always next year. Hopefully there will be more extras there next year. The program this year didn't look as good as last year was.

It wasn't as star packed as it was last year...but this sure didn't make it any less crowded. I noticed there was a HUGE Star Wars presence this year. SW fans must have loved it.

Sorry we missed you, Glor. Sat. was nuts. It's really hard to "wing it" at Comic Con. I missed hooking up with another friend...and the next day he told me he had drinks with Mark Hamil and I had an open invite to join them. Doh!

Next year we will make firm plans.

Not totally on topic, but I was in Tower the other day and saw the Sideshow James Bond from TMWTGG. All the accessories made sense except for one: A statue of a golden elephant. The only thing I can imagine is that somebody at Sideshow heard the story about "Harry and the elephant shopes" and decided to be a smart-aleck.

Ha! Funny.

Maybe they were just going for an overall Thai theme? :)

That's what I thought too but still, a very odd addition to the set.

Well that is different Genrewriter.

Bond Accessories:
Roger Moore as Agent 007-James Bond comes dressed in a white blazer with gold buttons and brown slacks. He is ready for action with his Walther PPK. This figure also comes with a 1/6 scale Martini Glass, Champagne bottle and Wooden Elephant.

But it's the elephant the little boy wants to sell to the woman. :) Hope that settles it.

Roger truly was "The Saint" for knocking that kid into the water.

I guess I can put this in this thread, since it is "star wars". I was driving home from work the other day and in front of me in this car... which... is... a Star Wars Car (I wish I could have gotten a picture of the side of the car, because man it was all decked out guns and all, but here's the back... R2D2 and all...)

Xenia's Ferrari: I'm not sure what the actual release date of the Goldfinger Graphic Novel will be, but keep watching CBn... when we find out we'll let you know.

Looks like MGM.com finally got something up on their site about "THE WOMAN IN THE GLASS BOOTH". I think our picture is better. :)
