I thought I would post something different than speculating about all the rumors of past about Bond 20 and post about this: If you were to make the next Bond film (Bond 21) and make it shamefully bad so that Bond would not exist afterwards, how would you make it? Any plots? Here's one of mine:

James Bond is having a wild romp with quite a few lady friends in his apartment bedroom. Fun turns into deadly danger as the landlord comes in to break up the party. Armed with only a bra he found on the floor, Bond trys to save everyone from this vile villain before he brings out the eviction notice!

I'm SO not against Bond, but I thought this would be worth the laugh.

I would ruin the name of Bond with three concepts.

1. American Bond
2. The return of Blofeld (it's over, sorry)
3. Jane Bond.

just put John Woo as the director and Tom "Jedi" cruise as Bond
and it s over
i say that because this how these two guys ruins the mission :impossible legend.
Mission impossible was very good, but MI2 is one of the worst film ever made !!!!

God. That's not just killing it, that's killing it, burying it, and perposly buying a headstone to put on the grave. But here's another one, bring back John Glen, w/ Denise Richards, with James Bond... none other than Roger Moore! How's that for an age gap!

There's hundreds of ways to ruin the name of bond!! Make him drink cheap champagne, change him into a terrible gambler with huge debts, or stay the night in a lousy hotel with an ugly prostitue!!!

Quite frankly not nice thoughts - but if you were hell bent on destroying the dignity and credibility of the 007 series it would be really easy.

It could transpire that Bond is a secret Bee gees fan! Nothing could be worse than bringing Tanya Roberts back though!!!!

Actually the way to destroy Bond would be to let the suits at MGM make the creative decisions instead of EON.
Nearly all the miscalculations recently (not that there have been a lot, mind you) have been foisted on EON by MGM.

By showing James Bond putting on a condom before making love to a beautiful women. Apparently, the Vatican have already asked the producers several times to do this.

The Vatican Scaramanga? Hell no. They're against contraception! It's something of a Bond Urban Ledgend, but if could be true. The organisation was the Salvation Army I believe.
