Okay so I just finished re-reading DAF and it's much better than I remembered (it's no LALD or MR but it has its moments. I wish Fleming had taken another pass through it just working on the villains, it may have been much better in the end.)

Anyway we all "see" these books in our minds so here's my cast for the film of the book:

Bond: Connery (can't help it I can't see anyone else.)

M: Bernard Lee (He may have been the best cast actor in the whole film series.)

Tiffany: Renee Zellweggger

Leiter: young Clint Eastwood (circa the mid-60s)

Ernie Cureo: Art Buchwald

Wint: James Coco

Kidd: Crispin Glover

Lame Brain: Tor Johnson

Mr. Wint in the film is played by Bruce Glover. Truthfully, neither of them in the film seem to be overweight people.
